few aspects could have been improved during my stay. Some of the cooking utensils were not properly cleaned, with bits of food still stuck to them, which was disappointing. Additionally, there was no bin in the bedroom, so I had to repurpose a basket from the bathroom. Finally, there were no fire starters provided, which meant I couldn’t get the fire going after a particularly cold day—something that would have made the stay more comfortable.

The property was easily located thanks to the clear directions provided. The place itself was gorgeous, with stunning surrounding views and the serene sight of horses grazing nearby. It was spotless, with everything in great condition, including a lovely lavender pouch on the pillow, which added a beautiful personal touch. The space had all the essentials, making it feel like a home away from home. Diana was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions I had, which made the stay even smoother, though it was a shame I didn’t get to meet her. Overall, it was the perfect, peaceful retreat during a busy work week.

The weather good have been better, but they can't control that. The outdoor seating area could have a roof put over it, so it is usable all year, but that is just a suggestion.

The location was ideal for us. The views were breath taking and it was so peaceful. Even the horses were wonderful to watch, as they ran around playing. I will definitely stay here again. Diana and Tom are really nice people.

Everything! Diane was so welcoming and brought us cake on our arrival. Essentials were provided so we could have a drink. The flat was spotlessly clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The area is peaceful so great for a relaxing break.The views and garden were stunning. They have the cutest dog too that popped in regularly for a fuss. I will definitely be returning.

Couldn’t fault -but as the weather was so lovely -would have enjoyed a bit of grass space as it surrounds the house, the outdoor seated area feels a tiny bit random.

It is such a wonderful place to spend a holiday. The accommodation is part of a larger house but has its own entrance. French windows lead to a patio with teak furniture. Overall you have a lot of privacy. Good walking opportunities with a public footpath next to the property. Petersfield and Midhurst are less than 15 minutes away by car, very convenient. The hosts made us feel really at home. We will definitely rent this cottage again in the future.
