We arrive late due to the ferry time and they were willing to help us out the check in time. They also provide breakfast for us even that we run again late. Excellent customer service and smiling face staff. Adorable. The place itself was a gem! Very happy! Can’t wait to go back

Nothing really. The food in the restaurant was a little expensive but it was delicious!

Fab hotel in a great location for good walks along the coast right out the door. We loved the family room (plenty of space for four of us with kids aged 12 and 9), breakfast was great with lots of choice and the restaurant for evening meals was lovely. All the staff were friendly too.

The dramatic location was exceptional . To be submerged in the raw elements was sublime. The pods and grounds were well thought out for comfort and the outdoor experience. Absolutely loved it! Every home comfort you needed was catered for.

The shower was difficult to use, with no instructions. The bathroom floor ends up pretty wet when you use it. Not the end of the world, but easy to fix.

Very attentive & polite service from all the staff at the hotel and restaurant. Room was spacious and clean. Location is really special, with a short walk down to the beach and harbour area. A delightful place to stay. The food was excellent too. Great cocktails!

Being told at 10.20 pm that the bar was closing on a Saturday evening. Disappointing as we had enjoyed a family meal for my 65th birthday and were staying at the hotel. Had hoped to have continued to enjoy a drink until 11pm.

Exceptionally clean. The best hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Staff very friendly and food was excellent.

Drinking water in the rooms would be great

Didn’t like having to book early slot (8.30) for breakfast . Seemed a bit regimented. About 4 couples arrived at the same time as us which seemed counterproductive! Breakfast was nice, but my husband asked for scrambled eggs on toast, with bacon & we thought one rasher of bacon was very stingy as he didn’t choose sausage, black pudding, tomato, beans, or mushroom . Would have been better had he been given an additional piece of bacon or two. Heard the waitress offering other guests an extra sausage or tomato or beans in place of something they didn’t want etc.

Very nice room, lovely and warm. Comfortable bed, pillows and duvet. Very nice white bed linen. En-suite was well lit , often have difficulty applying makeup in hotel rooms as there is insufficient lighting. This was 10/10 . Good shower, modern facilities and lots of hot water. We enjoyed a very good evening meal in the restaurant. Great service by all staff. Most enjoyable.

The TV was on the wrong wall to facilitate watching tv from the bed.

The position of the hotel is great. A lovely walk to the village across a field. My wife and I were upgraded to a large family room as it was available. No extra charge. The food was excellent.

Everything was as described on the website only better, the staff were very helpful, great food, well stocked bar and the rooms excellent, we had a sea view which was outstanding 😀 highly recommended.

The room that we were provided was close to the entrance that was quite noisy till around 10:00pm as there was a party happening in the breakfast area.

A small cozy hotel close to the sea. You could clearly hear the waves hitting the rocks.

One slight niggle simply because of some inconsiderate guests is that the Hotel entrance and Veranda should be marked as a No Smoking area. We were sat on the bench near the entrance enjoying the evening sunshine with a glass of wine watching sun sink in the west when a fellow guest stepped outside to have a cigarette. It was very unpleasant for a short while and there is plenty of outside space in the adjacent car park for this obnoxious habit.

Hard to find anything that could be improved on, a very pleasant and well run hotel.

first class location ,friendly and helpful staff ,nice comfortable and warm hotel. The food was very good both breakfast and evening meal. The evening meal is in the Bay View Restaurant which is very popular with locals( always a good sign). Varied range of options and a good bar. Lovely grounds to walk around, very peaceful scenic.

I'm a t-shirt in winter kind of guy, so even in late summer I was melting in the room. Available material for nearby attractions etc. was lacking considering that this was in the middle of nowhere.

Room was bright, spacious and modern. Breakfast was in with the price and was very nice. Dinner in the bar & restaurant was lovely. Sunday lunch was good value for money. Location was perfection.
