Steep stairs up to the bedroom floor.

Central location for many places. Close to Frome, Trowbridge and Wells. Also Longleat and many other places worth exploring.

We travelled for a wedding and the Full Moon was only a mile or so from the venue so the location was perfect for us. The room was really nice, well decorated and clean with tea and coffee facilities and a fridge which had, milk, water and juice, which was a really nice touch. The bathroom was small but perfectly formed, with a large walk-in shower, complete with shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. The bed was massive and very comfortable, all in all it was a great nights sleep. The pub itself is charming and traditional, with a modern twist. The wedding was later in the day so we had a drink and some food before leaving. We tried the sharing platter and some spring rolls, the food was excellent and reasonable. Breakfast was also very good, plenty of options and all good produce. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Full Moon to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Fabulous stay at the Full Moon Inn. Staff were all so warm and helpful, the place is spotless clean, every bit of the Inn and the rooms, the rooms are so comfortable because not only they are spacious but also they have been refurbished with common sense. We've all asked ourselves why couldn't they put a hook here? How lovely it'd be to have a nice welcome cookie ? It'd be nice to have Netflix? It'd be good to have all the toiletries...the Full Moon have thought about everything you have ever thought in other hotels and have made sure you have it in your room. The food at the pub is fantastic and the breakfast, you couldn't fault it. Plenty of things to do for hikers, cyclists, runners and even if you do none of these, lovely little villages to explore with your car can be found nearby. Full moon is cyclist friendly, hiker friendly, dietary requirement friendly, dog friendly, children friendly. Do not hesitate to book this place!

Personal preference but didn't like the raindrop shower, as limited adjustment.

Clean, hot water, very comfortable with nice finishing touches. There was a great view, the staff were friendly and accommodating and a very good breakfast.

It's hard to fault this place really. Maybe slightly later bar service could be good.

The staff are excellent at The Full Moon: a small team, each seemingly with more than one job, but they do all of them excellently and during our visit they were always very helpful and friendly. The building is historic but very well maintained, the rooms are lovely, the pub area is excellent, the food was good and the beer was very good.

    Nothing negative to say

The pub/hotel is on a country lane off a main A road with a view of the chalk horse at Salisbury. The room was compact but beautifully decorated with lots of little extras like home made biscuits, a variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh orange juice, water and milk in a fridge. The toiletries were locally sourced and smelt amazing and the tissues and cotton buds were a nice touch too. The only negative was the sliding barn door into the toilet, which did not allow for much noise reduction - other than that it was a 10/10. We ate at the pub with my daughter and her partner. The food we all had was amazing and again had been tastefully decorated. Breakfast was cooked to order and plentiful. Overall, we will be back!
