there probably was fantastic if you want to get away for peace and quiet the bed was very very comfy The property was very clean and the staff was very helpful and welcoming. Felt like a real five star getaway.

We loved the privacy, hot tub it was lovely and relaxing ideal location beside your very own little lake with the swans coming over while having my morning coffee. We will def b back. If the hot tub had a roof we would even go in the winter lol

Such a beautiful place! Kyle was great he had the hot tub heated for us arriving and checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had enough wood. We brought our dog who was obsessed with sitting on the dock watching the swans! Great location, local shop a few minutes drive away and great food options in Donaghadee and Millisle.

Everything is so thought out, we had arrived a little late and the host had reheated the hot tub for us arriving which was exceptional - nothing is too much to ask and you have everything you need in the hut

Nothing. Only thing i would maybe recommend is extra pillows for the bed. Only had one each. But again this isnt major.

Location is perfect so quiet and relaxed! Hot tub was great and host had it heated for us coming which was lovely!

Gorgeous, characterful shepherd’s hut in a beautiful location. The wood-fired hot tub was a fab addition. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

If I was to be really picky, I found the steps up to the hut quite steep, only because I'm a disabled person a wee hand rail would of been helpful but that's personal choice.

Hidden little Gem. Hot tub was unreal, so comfy in hut and it hadeverything you needed. Bathroom in the hut was so good not having to go to separate area. Host Kyle was amazing with extended check out time. Nothing was a problem.

This is the second time now we have stayed here, love everything about it. How peaceful and relaxing it is, and this time the labs and sheep made it even better we loved watching them all weekend. Close enough to drive into Millisle or Donaghadee if want to do anything, hottub is a great bonus. Great hosts who are happy to help with anything you may need.

Nothing it was perfect.

The views were absolutely stunning, sitting in the evening looking at the lake and being able to have my morning coffee watching the lambs and little ducks. It was so tranquil. The hut was cosy but still spacious. Hot tub amazing, very warm. We were even able to jump back in the following morning with a nice cup of coffee. The bed was extremely comfortable too.

We enjoyed 2 very relaxing days. Accomodation, location, surroundings = superb ! Our host made us feel very welcomed from the minute we arrived. He even said I'm a good clay-shooter although I missed almost every one.

The only thing that put a dampner on the stay was I set my phone up for a nice picture on the decking... yep! Phone went straight into the lake. After actually getting into the lake I still couldn't retrieve it. Kyle the owner was nearby and helped but it was too difficult. Honestly he tried everything for us which was nice. Unfortunately resulted in a new phone. So don't set your phone up for a picture in the decking 🤣

We loved every minute of our stay. The hut was amazing and had all we needed. We even brought our airfyer and made dinner. Shower facilities were 100% and the hot tub was lovely. Definitely would recommend 👌
