The water heater was very noisy, I was worried it might disturb other guests, maybe a small kettle would be better. especially for filling my flask of tea/coffee. A very minor critisism though.

Excellent breakfast, fantastic hosts very well organised accommodation. I would stay again.

Everything was so good and such exceptional value for money. Warm welcome from Danny and Hilde. Room was faultless and appreciated the fridge and microwave. Breakfast was delicious and served in a very unusual location - a hobbit hut in the garden.

Absolutely everything was awesome, the host goes above and beyond to help you experience the proper hospitality of a B&B. Self check-in, free street parking around the house, cozy room with a large king size bed, shared bathroom was clean and tidy. Most surprising was the little breakfast hut in the back garden, amazing idea by host which made our day. Also breakfast was nice with an option to get a packed lunch to go for £5 per person. Self-service Minibar in corridor was also nice. Amazing stay, would love to stay again.

I said that I would get my own breakfast as I would be away to work before 8am but Hilde provided breakfast and a packed lunch for the three days I stayed. Great service and good breakfast,/ lunch

No mirror in my room to brush my hair and put on my bite cream, damn midges!

Hilde was a lovely host. Arrived to find a hot chocolate sachet with my tea & coffee which is rare in itself but I also had a chocolate and pastry waiting for me after my long day hiking. Room was great and even came with its own fridge. A microwave was available if I wanted plus my own set of cutlery and crockery was in the room too. Sky tv was a unexpected bonus. Bed comfy Towels and a flannel were provided.

This was a brilliant find for us, Danny and Hilde were amazing hosts, they had thought of everything, we couldn't have asked for more The Belgium beer was delicious and the breakfast area was very cool. Thank you!

At the moment the sounds from the other room, but the hosts are fixing all that.

What's not to like. Very friendly people, very comfortable, awesome breakfast and all in a very nice place (Dingwall), large supermarkets around, and all in walking distance. I felt very taken care of.

Such a unique and wonderful place. From the kindness of the hosts to every small details, never much such a level of "WOW" when we stayed somewhere. Thank you so much for everything. (and to insists for the breakfast !! :-) ) looking for our own Kota Thanks for the advices for the shops, the visits, the discussion.. We'll come back.. we'll stay longer.. we'll share more and more!

We had a short but lovely stay here. Our room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for the night, with plenty of amenities for a longer stay. Our hosts were very helpful in the lead up to our stay and genuinely kind people. The highlight of our stay was the wonderful breakfast in the garden hut. Flanders Fields offers exceptional value for money, and we would not hesitate to recommend it and book here again in the future. Thank you for having us.

Cute room, beautifully decorated. Clean & quiet. Great to have a fridge & in the the hall landing a microwave (plus drinks available to purchase). Welcome biscuits & chocolate are a lovely touch. Fabulous breakfast in a warm hut in the garden. Hosts lovely who go the extra mile for their guests. A home away from home. Would loved to have stayed longer. Highly recommended.
