Everything was perfect.

Monica and her husband were absolutely lovely, kind hosts who went beyond to ensure our stay was comfy and enjoyable. Also, a world of knowledge of sights to see, where to eat and what to do. Everything we needed was laid on to ensure we enjoyed a home from home break. Our room was impeccably clean with a super, comfy bed for a perfect night's sleep in a quiet, country setting. Not to mention the super breakfast that Monica laid on each morning. We were set for the day. On our next trip to Derry, I have no hesitation in booking the Five Oaks again.

Clean comfortable accommodation in a lovely country setting. Lovely breakfast served by our very pleasant host Monica. It all made for a lovely weekend, and my wife and myself felt very rested after our stay.

The hosts, Monica and her husband are very nice and welcoming. We were provided with very good service and also tips on what to do in the city. Breakfast was lovely. The location is nice and quiet, and only 10 min. dive to Derry city centre. We enjoyed our stay at Five Oaks.

Nothing all good. Faultless presentation by an experienced friendly host.

The bed and breakfast is located just outside Derry in a beautiful quiet location. It is still really accessible and close to the A6. The house has a lovely garden with colourful plants and seating areas. The host was wonderful and gave lots of historical information on local buildings and things to see. The breakfast was amazing with lovely fresh fruit. The house was beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. The bed in the room had a lovely mattress and I had a great night's sleep. I was tired and very grateful for the rest. there was good safe offroad parking.

3 nights in twin room, mother and adult daughter trip to sight see in Derry and Donegal. Fabulous country setting, but very close to Derry City and also easy access to explore all of Donegal by car. Excellent host Monica, nothing was too much trouble, and lots of info and chat on what to visit....Great Stories too! Extremely comfy beds and everywhere spotless, and superb breakfast and great atmosphere created by Monica in dining room with other guests.

Extremely pleasant stay, the owners were friendly, caring and most helpful with information about Derry. Ample breakfast in pleasant surroundings with a good selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt etc as well as a cooked Irish breakfast.

We spent the last 2 nights of our vacation at Monica's place and we regretted not having more days left to spend here. Monica is such a caring host, we had nice conversations with her and she gave a lot of tips for trips in the surrounding area. And then she surprised us with a small lunchbag packed with biscuits, tea and coffee for our day trip. Furthermore the house was exceptionally clean, but being very cosy even though. I slept so good as the house is very quiet located and the bed was really comfortable. I felt like home!

Five Oaks was wonderful! My daughter and I both noticed how clean and comfortable it was, and the quiet countryside was a bonus. Monica and Adrian were really helpful and friendly, and we had lovely conversations. I would definitely choose to stay there again on another visit. Breakfast was lovely too.

Monica was an absolute star, went out of her way to make sure we were welcome. after the first night it was like staying with someone we’ve known for years. The area is peaceful and quiet, with a great outdoors area. the room was cosy with a comfortable bed, hot powerful shower and filled with stuff you would need. highly recommend anyone to stay here. we will be back!

Five Oaks was definitely our best accommodation in North Ireland! Monica indulged us with a very delicious and nourishing breakfast, that left no wish unfulfilled. She was very helpful, had a lot of good advices for visiting Derry and created a warmth and comforting atmosphere in her home that had let us feel at home. She and her husband also offered us a lift to the town (with a little tour and lots of informations and a stop at a beautiful viewing point) and the next bus stop, we are very thankful for that! The room and accommodation are affectionately arranged. Hair dryer, shampoo, heating blanket - just everything is provided. Monica and her partner are hosts with all their heart and who wants to enjoy sincere hospitality, should definitely stay at Five Oaks!

Breakfast was excellent. The B&B was located in a lovely, peaceful spot - very relaxing. Monica was full of great information and hints on where to go and what to see - she was a lovely host. We highly recommend Five Oaks.

This was actually one of the best B and B's we've stayed at. Monica couldn't do enough for us, and nothing was too much trouble. The house and grounds are lovely, in a wonderfully quiet location. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Had no problems getting to sleep, the beds were exceptional. I wanted to take it home with me. Breakfast was generous and relaxing. No being hassled to eat and be out the way. Both Monica and Adrian were charming and humorous and went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. I would have no problems recommending Five Oaks to anyone.

Monica and Adrian routinely go above and beyond, to meet every guest’s need. Monica did our laundry, free of charge, prepared a beautiful cooked breakfast every morning, and helped with whatever we needed. I noticed they afford each person equal care and attention. The place is immaculate, and the surrounding gardens well kept.
