The mattress was of a cheaper type, not comfy. There is a common pantry in the building with tea and coffee, that's nice. Still it wouldn't hurt if a simple drinking glass was provided in the room.

An old building with rooms that have been given some budget renovation. No staff on site - door codes are sent to you the day before your arrival. Quite ascetic but clean - OK for an overnight stay but only just that.

Room had signs of damp damage on the wall and the shower quickly flooded meaning I had to be quick to stop the water from over flowing.

Location was good and room was easy to get to. All instructions were clear before arrival.

The 'onsite' staff were not terrifically accessible or particularly helpful - I had to help a far eastern asian couple gain access to their room after they were unable to successfully navigate the booking in procedure (don't book last minute, and expect the room access code to magically arrive in seconds!). The phone number given didn't connect, and I had to do a fair bit of digging online to find a number that did! If anything goes wrong, don't expect any meaningful assistance to fix either access to the room or facilities within it. You're on your own! The owners have also stuffed rooms into every corner of the property, and the loft rooms are small with awkward access via cramped stairs. The wardrobe in the studio is laughably small being around 400mm in depth. If there are two of you, good luck hanging anything up.

The location was ideal for the business trip that I undertook. I booked a studio apartment which was essentially the kitchen and breakfast room of a terraced house. While 'compact' living was the order of the day, everything was spotlessly clean and well presented. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped.

The room was sold as having air conditioning, which it did not. The desk was very small and not ideal if you want to work at it for any period of time. It was a little noisy from the cleaners in the morning but that is understandable.

The room was extremely clean and very spacious. The location is ideal for the train station and the faculty of education/Homerton college. The bed was very comfy with different types of pillows available.

I found it very complicated accessing the accommodation. I am not a very technical person on the internet so found it very stressful. I found it very hard too trying to communicate with your staff on the phone, very hard to understand them and I rang many times with no answer. I was waiting for ages outside trying to get through to your staff. I was also annoyed that I had to pay an extra 50 pounds, I think that i should have been already notified about this. I hope that I am reimbursed with this money as soon as possible as it said.

Few complaints that were not huge issues for a short business trip: hair dryer wasn't working, toilet is extremely small to the point it was hard to close the door while using it, and the chair and desk in the room are not very comfortable. Could hear other guests as the noise insulation is not that great.

Things were generally clean and worked well. It is a small room but is what I expected and paid for. Self check-in was easy and the hosts were responsive via Booking.com.

That admin support was not available 24/7, on w/e, bank holiday... Could not arrange to leave luggage in a locker on the spot

Cold on first night and radiators not working. Promptly fixed on 2nd night after request. No tea bags on 2nd morning . Quite noisy by road. No recycling faculties - it would be easy to have second bin in kitchen. Would welcome a fridge & microwave

Near train station Good to have room on ground floor as there wasn’t a lift. Comfy bed.

Bathroom was a bit cramped. Not really a big problem. Tea and coffee was available on ground floor, bit of a trek from the top floor, but again not really a big issue.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean, very convenient/close to train station. No problems with automated checkin / getting access using code. Good value for money considering the location.

I've stayed multiple times in various rooms and my biggest frustration is the fixed shower heads that send out the tiniest streams of water that go everywhere except where you want them. Flexible shower heads would be a superb upgrade.

Location is the reason I book the hotel. Its clean and comfortable enough if you are traveling for work.

However, we encountered a couple of minor hiccups during our visit. Firstly, the noise from outside was noticeable, which slightly disrupted our sleep. Additionally, the room was a bit chilly at night, despite our efforts to adjust the temperature. Besides this, we were surprised by the incidental damage deposit of £50 requested the day before our arrival, but the process was smooth, and the value was promptly restored the next day without any hassle.

My boyfriend and I had a delightful one-night stay at this Cambridge accommodation. The room had a cozy ambiance and comfortable bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom amenities, including shower gel and shampoo, were a thoughtful touch, adding to the overall convenience of our stay. The provision of coffee, tea, and a machine with hot and cold water was a welcome bonus, allowing us to unwind and refresh at any time during our stay. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Cambridge. The combination of excellent facilities, great location, and comfortable amenities made our stay truly great.

Bad experience with check in… staff talking to us through a ring doorbell. We hadn’t been able to check in online, the notification said I hadn’t paid when I’d paid in advance. It was a shambles to be honest. The idea is good but it didn’t work for either of us in two different rooms due to the check-in link online not working and trying to talk to someone in possibly another country on an intercom when noisy traffic was passing. It worked in the end but there was 15 mins of unnecessary stress …

Personless hotel so everything is done by codes which is great when it works but not so great when it doesn’t. My room code did not work and I had to wait an hour until it was sorted. They staff worked really hard to get it done for me but the hours wait meant I was late for my plans.
