The WiFi in our room location was not working during our visit. This is a standard requirement these days, especially for my teen kids. There was also a fire alarm which went off in the middle of the night so we were all evacuated from our rooms at 1:30am and had to stand in the car park for 1/2 hr. This was an inconvenience but staff soon sorted out the false alarm and where very apologetic. The kids thought it was an adventure so it didn't bother them too much. It was kind of good to see an organised approach had there been an actual fire so can't complain really. The only other thing to say is that the pull out sofa bed was not very comfy for the kids. I anticipated this and took a couple of decent airbeds which were much more comfortable.

Very comfortable large room with all the basic kitchen amenities you need. Its a quiet chilled out little resort village even though there was alot of young families. Great location for exploring the north Lake District.

Great resort to stay. Very good room with all kitchen facilities for cooking . Lovely veiws from the balcony. Good spa and leisure facilities. Great place to stay.

Far too many emails, forms, security deposit emails before our stay, we also made a request for the sofa bed to. be made up for my daughter beforehand... this wasn't done

The view was fantastic, the on site facilities great. We really had a fabulous stay. The village is so lovely and very safe for children. We’d definitely not hesitate to book again

Absolutely nothing!

Everything was just perfect from booking to check out. The apartment had everything we needed and more. It was so clean and tidy. the facilities were amazing. pool was a great temperature and extremely Clean. The views were fantastic from the balcony. I will be booking again in the future.

the hotel had a late check in, weren’t allowed to use the facilities before check in, the restaurant closed at 6 so not much time to eat particularly as check in so late, was then only able to use the pool for half an hour as kids aren’t allowed in after 7

Location was quite remote. Not able to park close to accommodation.

Room was spacious and warm. Kitchen was well equipped. WiFi signal was fast.

Awkward vertical towel rail, made it difficult to dry or hang more than one towel at a time. Tv didnt connect to WiFi, and didnt allow changes for hotspot connection for netflix etc. Luckily shrek 2 was on the shelf! Products left at the very back of the fridge had a tendency to freeze. Oven was a tad too small, but did just fit my one person pizza in. Few cobwebs around the flat. No indication that a cleaner had been in to tidy up, refil toilet roll etc, or empty bins. Kitchen bin got quite full, and nowhere obvious to empty it yourself.

Very good bathroom- good size, his and her sink, lovely shower always good water pressure and hot water. Lovely firm matress and extra pillows if needed. Balcony and view was excellent. Vegetable peeler and kitchen knives were excellent. Having a basic gym, hot tub, pool, sauna and steam room on site was beautiful! Made use of the fan keeping to room at a perfect temperature for the entire stay.

Having bee an owner (no longer) at Whitbarrow for twenty years, I have always campaigned for bathroom safety. A grab Handle at shoulder height in the wall would make climbing into and out of the bath much more secure. Sadly, being on my own meant that there was no social chat in the bar due to Corvid causing families to remain in their own groups. a

No shop on site so had to drive to get groceries but there is a large supermarket 10mins down the road. A few Tiles in the bathroom were loose and the grout had gone and the bed was a little hard for our looking but only minor as the apartment was amazing.

Excellent location with excellent facilities on site. We visited when the weather was very wet and cold and actually had everything we required from a facilities perspective.

Only thing to mention was the cracked tiles in the bathroom, but that was addressed and I was informed before arrival which wasn’t a problem with me at all.

Very clean and well presented. Everything you need and more under one roof. Beautiful location and incredible views to wake up to on a morning. Facilities on site were brilliant too and the staff were faultless. Stayed here prior to this break and we will 110% be back again. It’s just perfect.

not a lot as described told me on Saturday no hot tub when arriving on Monday no time to cancel and book another place bar and restaurant shut most of the time there steam room out of order
