Too many air-fresheners and 'fake' scents for me but that window opened which helped. But the towels were not washed in overly scented softener which was an absolute bonus! Would have been good to have breakfast available.

Location was perfect for the Institute of Sport/Arena which is why we selected it. Easy parking onsite and friendly staff. We uses both inside and outside stairs and we thought the rooms was clean and comfortable for one or two nights. The pub downstairs was ideal and served very good value wine!

Some stains on the headboards, little cracks on the toilet. Comfortable enough stay though for one night. Would stay again as long as price wasn’t any higher. £90 was fine.

Location to Sheffield arena for concert was excellent, staff extremely helpful, kind and welcoming. Decent amenities, food available in the pub which is reasonably priced, quiet night sleep. Ample free parking always a bonus.

The bed was quite uncomfortable it felt like the springs had probably gone it. Overall the room was of reasonable standard but the bed was not up to the same level and when you stay for 1 night you like to be comfortable.

The location is urban but on a busy road not far from Meadowhall and The Sheffield Arena this makes it easily accessible from the M1.

It was a little bit chilly in the evening. In the bathroom too. Lovely hot water, good pressure but on my 3rd morning it was not so good. Being on the main road wasn’t ideal. I did request a room at the back of the building. I wasn’t looking forward to the noise from the restaurant & bar. I should have read the small print. I was warned. However, I was there on a Friday night & it was fine.

I didn’t eat at the Fairways. I liked the terrific standard of cleanliness. No smells. Lovely bathroom. Good lighting. A wardrobe. Amazingly an iron & board. The bed was super comfy. Jordan was most helpful & extremely polite.

Arrived to be told not booked in which took 30 minutes to sort shortening our time to get ready for the concert. Thankfully one room left . No heating and TV not working

The room access was outside so was a little difficult up the outside staircase with bags in the rain so inside access would have been much preferred but wasn’t too bad as my youngest was 9 any younger may have been a struggle safety wise

The room was cold - the heating didn’t seem to be on. We weren’t in the room long though, so wasn’t a problem.

The room was exactly what I needed - somewhere to stay overnight before travelling on to a dance competition.

Only one thing. Room 2, the carpet was very dirty. My socks stuck to the carpet in places. It creeped me out. It couId be a recent thing. I used my shoes as slippers. Which was a real pity. No breakfast available, it doesn’t make that clear on site.

I only spoke to the person behind the bar. They were pleasant enough. The room was a decent size. Bed comfy , bed and shower room clean and functional. Sky hd worked. Reasonable wifi. I would have given it a 10 except for one thing , see below. Good value apart from that.
