Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomBreakfast to obtain jam which were in jars you had to place a paper cup under a jar.Problem was there was five jam containers side by side you had to pull on a lever to dispence the jam .people pulling the wrong handle very messy.Outside Maine entrance several cigarette butts on ground area not kept clean.

The price was reasonable. The hotel facilities are basic but adequate. The bed wasn't big enough, the breakfast was good for the money. The dining room didn't cope well with high numbers.

United KingdomDidn't realize no restaurant for evening meal but lucky there was located next door a Harvester. Which I enjoyed a meal. Trying to get a taxi - helps if the phone to the taxi company was plugged in at reception. I asked one of the gentleman should this not be showing a display. He said yes and checked the connection. He connected it in. Able to use then.
Comfortable bed and pillows. Shower gel, soap good quality.

United KingdomRoom rate of £56 was very very good value - only minor criticism is that £25 for a small dog is a bit excessive.
On arrival, the receptionist was fantastic - I have arthritis- she came out to offer help with my bag and little dog. Once at the desk, she found me the perfect room on the ground floor - very near the reception. Super clean and comfortable room. Good quality bed linen. Next morning, breakfast was very good - not the highest quality or biggest selection but as its included in the room rate - excellent value. And very importantly for me, dog friendly tables available. Location close to the A1 was perfect for an overnight stop.

United KingdomArrived and no cot despite ordering on our booking, we ordered drink at bar it was flat, advised them, they took ages to change, and we had to leave as run out of time, and then they tried to charge for the flat drink that we complained about despite it being left on the bar where they were serving, Area in liunge/dining area dirty, tables sticky (this was about 4/430), carpet dirty. Not impressed by mos, he blamed booking.com for error in the room,with the cot, they put us in a room directly behind reception with a 1yr old baby, prob the busiest noisiest place in hotel and same mos was a bit confrontational about not paying fir the flat drink we left after complaining about it and not getting any other drinks for the group due to them fussing around changing the pump
