Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomRoom rate of £56 was very very good value - only minor criticism is that £25 for a small dog is a bit excessive.
On arrival, the receptionist was fantastic - I have arthritis- she came out to offer help with my bag and little dog. Once at the desk, she found me the perfect room on the ground floor - very near the reception. Super clean and comfortable room. Good quality bed linen. Next morning, breakfast was very good - not the highest quality or biggest selection but as its included in the room rate - excellent value. And very importantly for me, dog friendly tables available. Location close to the A1 was perfect for an overnight stop.

United KingdomArrived and no cot despite ordering on our booking, we ordered drink at bar it was flat, advised them, they took ages to change, and we had to leave as run out of time, and then they tried to charge for the flat drink that we complained about despite it being left on the bar where they were serving, Area in liunge/dining area dirty, tables sticky (this was about 4/430), carpet dirty. Not impressed by mos, he blamed booking.com for error in the room,with the cot, they put us in a room directly behind reception with a 1yr old baby, prob the busiest noisiest place in hotel and same mos was a bit confrontational about not paying fir the flat drink we left after complaining about it and not getting any other drinks for the group due to them fussing around changing the pump

United StatesThe pillows were hard as a rock. As a reward member I saw (on a card in our room) we could request a feather pillow. I spoke to the person at the desk and first she said there might not be any more available but came down to our room and said we would have one by noon. That never happened. I spoke to the evening desk receptionist and he told me he would take care of it but it never happened.
The breakfast was good and the room was clean. The location was excellent.

United KingdomStaff were slow to appear for check in and check out. We were on a tight timeframe and this caused frustratio. Sign on bain marie at breakfast indicating it contained scambled eggs so made toast in readiness, only to find it contained hash browns and no eggs available.
Location was good, room was comfortable though quite cold when we arrived, no heating in bathroom so had to leave the door open to warm up. Despite there appearing to be a high number of guests, the hotel was quiet and undisturbed overnight.
