Breakfast… cutlery was not the best. Would have preferred individual sachets for jam for hygiene reasons.

We have stayed at the hotel on five occasions visiting our Son at Uni. Buffet breakfast was as expected with a good choice of food. The location of the hotel to the shops in Gunwharf Quays can't be beaten and plenty restaurants to choose from. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Handy secure parking. Overall a good stay.

Breakfast was poor. Hated jar of marmalade with one spoo. In it for everyone to help themselves. Not hygienic at all!! Not good value for money as sausages tasteless and bacon wet and flabby.

The staff were very welcoming. However. The breakfast was poor. Out of the stay experience this was the weakest link. Helping yourself to marmalade out of a communal jar with one spoon in it is NOT good. Would never book breakfast again. Thought it showed defo signs of cost cutting.

Some of the furniture was looking slightly tatty. The table had chips all around it and the base had paint coming off it. The sofa bed was so saggy that it was hard to get out of when it was a sofa, thankfully didn’t need to use it as a bed. In the bathroom the tiles round the toilet flush we’re all chipped - not a good finish.

The staff, Marie and I think his name was Dan were excellent. Marie is an absolute treasure, so welcoming, friendly and helpful, a real asset.

Breakfast was a bit of a nightmare, it's self service and the food was lovely, however it was very busy and people obviously didn't realise they needed to clear their table once finished and as short staffed due to sickness this meant tables were full of plates/cups etc and needed to be wiped down. Maybe a notice to say 'PLEASE CLEAR YOUR TABLES ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED ' would be helpful.

The location was great, parking was very cheap. Room was clean, staff friendly.

The only reason I put it at a 9 was breakfast was a little dire. I tried to get there fairly early but everything was dried out and the eggs tasted a bit funny. Very nice to see a gluten free station and the gluten free bread was great. Lots of options too.

Everything was great, nice clean rooms, very lovely friendly staff. Very considerate in placing us quite far away from a loud stag do. Customer service was a 10/10. The room was clean and comfy and had everything we needed.

Our bathroom had a leak which meant we had to leave our towels on the floor to soak it up and the air con only went up in temp not down - great for winter - not so good for summer. The staff were very accommodating though

We requested a twin room when booking but upon arrival were told it had a double bed and bed settee - that would have been acceptable but we didn’t have bedding with us for the settee and hadn’t had advance notice that we weren’t getting the twin room we’d requested.

The breakfast was lacking in choices, trays or plates often empty, breakfast room crowded and tables not cleaned and ready for use. The heating/cooling system in the room and hotel overall was not functioning well and a fan was offered to help. This meant trying to sleep in a room that was 27 to 28 degrees Celsius. Other than those 2 concerns we were very pleased with the hotel and staff and would stay there again. I did not see any other hotel better situated.

The location could not have been better. Beautiful view (top floor) to the harbour. Walking distance to all attractions, restaurants, coastal walk, shops. Also walking distance and flat surfaces from hotel to trains, buses and ferries. We would stay here again.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were worse. We didn't have a comfortable sleep and, given that we both suffer from back trouble, woke up quite uncomfortable and stiff each morning. Not to put to fine a point on it, our bed was well beyond its sell by date and the pillows were terrible.

Location. Breakfast was fine and staff were helpful and courteous when asked. Cleanliness and room cleaning was very good. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. A good shower in the bathroom. We had a blocked sink in the bathroom on our first morning, which we reported to reception. This was fixed very promptly and efficiently, with a little thank you note and a chocolate bar from Mark, the maintenance man. Well done.

Drinks, ice cream and cookies were offered to the couple checking in before us but we were not offered anything. I am not sure why but made us feel unwelcome.

Great location above the Gunwharf Quays shopping centre. All the high end shops are there. Free parking in the centre car park for first 24 hours. Bit of a walk to the hotel entrance ( 100m) from underground car park. But there is a drop off spot outside entrance - left hand turn between units before you drive into shopping car park. Best to unload big bags there if you have them. Very good breakfast options and plenty of tables available. Staff very good too. Very handy to ferry terminal to IOW. Approx 400m walk to Historic Dockyard. Plenty of dinner options at Gunwharf Quays .

I liked the hotel but the lack of a mini fridge in the rooms let it down a little bit.

The location was excellent. Very close to where I needed to be. The staff at reception were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful.

Need to use the room card to turn on any electrical device in the room. Would of been nice to have a sign tell us this. Took us a while to figure how to turn on the lights. Also one electrical outlet not tied to the system would of been nice. Left the room with phones and computer on the charger hoping they would be charged up when we got back, but were still at the same low level since we took our room cards. We are early birds and needed get going by 6:00 am. Does not fully open until 6:30 am. Wish they would have some grab and go items.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Neat door that will close the toilet from the rest of the bathroom was much more than expected. Could make the typical full "English Breakfast". Coffee machine was available 24 hours. Some pastries and bread was available when we got up at 6:00 am.
