Lyn and Liam are the perfect hosts warm and friendly we loved our stay at the Elton Guest house everything about it was 10 out of 10, delicious food, lovely clean spacious rooms, nice and quiet and just a short stroll to the gardens, promenade, cafes and shops.

Beds comfy* Everything clean + pleasant* Excellent staff* Food fabulous and generous, too. The breakfast was excellent, freshly and perfectly cooked and there was a wide variety of cereals, fruit salads and yogurt as well as juice and the cooked breakfast. Staff were really pleasant and worked hard to give you what you wanted, more coffee, more toast, smaller portions etc. Landlady remembered what we'd had the day before, what we liked and didn't like. It was a very personalised service She was forthcoming with advice and information on places to eat out or visit. A very special treat was being guided to see one of the wild badgers who visit the garden. Rooms and dining room were decorated in pleasing contemporary style, everywhere looked clean and well kept. I loved that there were no ornaments and fuss in the room. I hate all those old ornaments that hoteliers clutter up surfaces with. and they had not done this here.. Room was quiet and had a lovely view of the garden which was beautiful with lots of shrubs, trees and flowers. Watching the squirrels and varied birdlife in the garden was an additional pleasure to our stay. Parking was across the road

There was nothing that was not to like about the whole experience. Excellent facilities, good food and very pleasant hosts.

Well cooked breakfast and the fresh fruit and cereals were well presented and plentiful. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well maintained. Excellent location, close to all that Grange has to offer. Our hosts could not have been any more amenable. If ever I visit the area again I shall be sure to stay here

bit far of a walk to get food and drink in the evening. everywhere had to pay for my car

No WiFi! The hosts leave you a log in number but it wouldn't connect.

We couldn't fault our stay here.

Breakfast was excellent. Good quality food, Good selection. Cooked to perfection. As well as the full English breakfast with superb sausages, there was a good choice of fresh fruit salad, fruit and cereals. Coffee,tea, herbal teas and orange juice available.

Lovely location close to the town and rail station. We received a very warm welcome and our room was absolutely beautiful. The residents lounge was really nice to sit in and my mum was so excited to see the badgers. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely return.

That we didn't stay longer.

We've just got home and in our opinion this was the BEST Guest House we've EVER stayed in. The owners Lynne and Liam make sure of your every need and really care (Lynne even did Claire's ironing). Breakfast was delicious and the room didn't have a spec of dust. We can't wait to re-book.

Excellent location a short walk from the train station and town centre. A warm welcome and lots of tourist information from the owner. Excellent breakfast cooked to order as well as plenty of fresh fruit and cereals.

There is nothing at all to dislike.

Everything about this Guest house is lovely. Beautifully decorated rooms, spotlessly clean home, beautiful gardens, visited by badgers from the adjoining woods and glimpses of shy deers. Tasty breakfasts of fruit, cereal plus full Engllsh as required. Location for train, town & promenade great. Lynn & Liam are warm friendly & knowledgeable local owners and offer a peaceful haven in which to relax.
