There was a very noisy party present on Saturday evening and they made dinner conversation a challenge. The staff did their best to keep them separate from the residents and the bar did close at 8 pm, after which time they all left. Drinks were still available from the bar staff. The restaurant lacks atmosphere and the menu could be a bit more imaginative, but adequate for a two night stay. It was obvious that there were not enough staff to deal with the large and very noisy party and serve the restaurant guests on the Saturday evening. It did improve after the large party left.

This was my second stay at this hotel. Following on from a disturbed night with a very noisy wedding party last year I specifically requested a quiet room this time. The room allocated was in a quiet part of the hotel and I was not disturbed in the room overnight this time. The room as clean and well appointed, with a comfortable bed, and looked out over the back of the hotel with a rural view of garden and fields. The reception staff were excellent and the restaurant staff were doing their best despite appearing to be short staffed for the number of people in the hotel on Saturday evening (see below)

The fire alarm was a little sensitive and went off a couple of times during our stay albeit on different floors.

Stayed here for 3 nights and we slept great! The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the temperature in the room was just perfect! The room itself was very big and had plenty of desk space which was handy. Breakfast was excellent - the hash browns and sausages were a particular favourite of ours - and there was a great selection of hot and cold options. Great value for money and surprised it was so quiet!

The rooms had moths in them which my grandson hated. The carpets weren't as clean as they could have been.

All of it. From the ease with booking, the checkin procedure was brilliant. Nice to be able to pay on arrival. Excellent communication during booking with both Booking. Com aswell as the hotel themselves. Great to have a lovely deep bath. Most places only have showers

We came for a boxing evening and felt that you weren’t quite prepared enough for it. Not enough staff on the bar. Family were kicked out of bar at 8 as not allowed to buy drinks if not residents???

Incredibly expensive for a personal overnight break in travel

The staff were incredibly helpful, car park right outside, great food, great rooms, superb breakfast.

Standard Double - Shower over bath - Overlooking car park which has EV charging points - Opening window - Msin road noise is audible and traffic consistent. Bath with shower over. Spacious room, standard corporate decor showing signs of regular use. Bed comfortable - pillows not so much. Housekeeping generally good. Dinner options - adequate. Breakfast - poor.

TV was up and down. Bbc1 no sound at all ever. Breakfast staff awful. 4 people stood around taking selfies. Told could only sit on one of 4 seats with the sun shining on them as the others all made up for dinner. Told they didn't expect anyone else for breakfast and it was 0900. No milk at the coffee machine. Order arrived wrong. Table never cleared was a mess. Noone at breakfast looked like they wanted to be there. Never a smile just doing the minimum they could get away with. Put a dampener on the whole stay. Won't be back.

The room was amazing. His Lordships. Reception and bar were really great staff. Air con and balcony great. Overall great stay Really hot and lovely breakfast

This is a very good hotel with good facilities and friendly staff. The rooms are comfy with tea & coffee. Extra tea & coffee etc can be found in reception along with a vending machine for snacks. The restaurant is also has good food reasonably priced.

Exterior of shower base had black mould, scuff Mark's on bedroom walls and room was to hot.

Breakfast is extra, which exceeded my budget. As the rooms are large, they take a while to heat up. The power shower was amazing. Staff try hard to meet guests needs.

Rooms are spacious and well equipped, car park was not overly full. Restaurant food was nice. I had to move rooms as the 1st night the radiator didn't work. A heater was provided which did the trick in the second room.
