It needs a little care. The lift button inside is taped on with sellotape 🤦‍♀️. Very tacky The breakfast was not replenished until you asked I wouldn’t Reccommend as there are lots of lovely cafes just outside

No Complaints. I have stayed at the hotel before and have always found it very accommodating.

Breakfast. Fried breakfast always a treat. The dining room was very spacious and well organised. The food pipping hot and good selection. Room. Very spacious and welcoming after a long tiring journey. Bathroom very clean.

The room was lovely but unfortunately the bathroom was not the cleanest. Very poor breakfast but not the staff's fault as there was not enough staff on shift.

The breakfast. Lack of apparent staff. Not a table free from used plates and cutlery. Cold food. Coffee ran out and wasn't replaced. Beans were cold, taken away, and not replaced. Toaster not working. Lots of grumbles and disent amongst other diners.

Liked the original features of the building. The room was clean, warm and comfortable.

Large party of guests very loud and intoxicated to extent that they had now concern for other guests. Property could do with a refurbishment as looking dated

Whoever orders the this stock for the bar needs to sit down and have a long think. They are constantly running out of draught beers. They used to have plenty of stock but not any more. On top of that they have taken away the popular pale ales. There’s only one lager on tap which you’ll be lucky to get!! I don’t understand what has happened as it was never like this before. Management need to sort this out….. maybe a few extra barrels on the next order and don’t be cheap skatesj

The shower didn't work very well, the room was a little tired and the breakfast service was poorly managed - one waitress vanished and another who had been chatting on reception appeared and took over. Had she been there instead of chatting with reception in the first place, they could have managed the service between them as they had the previous day

The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was great value for money in a good location with free parking. Redecoration in the reception, stairs, library and bar were very nice, as were the chandeliers.

On Monday there was only 1 member of staff on duty for breakfast, the poor girl had just come on duty, the previous member had left and there wasn’t 1 clean table to sit at, there was no juices of any sort to drink, no selection of cereals, no bread for toast, and most of the cooked breakfast was empty, the poor girl did so well in trying to sort it all out as well as having more guests coming into the room and clear the tables and fetch food from the kitchen, was rather a let down to say the least

In some areas it could benefit from some tlc......a bit of paint on scuffed skirting/ window sills. Replacing bath panels. Also a choice of firm and soft pillows would be most welcome. Just some suggestions.

We had a lovely stay. Although a bit oldie worldie it had charm and was clean. The staff were welcoming. We had a drink in the bar and Donna was lovely. So easy to chat to. Good location and a nice big carpark.
