We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomWhat a great welcome from Adam and Symmoane. Really welcoming and friendly we had a great two night stay. Room had everything you needed, warm and comfortable. Continental breakfast with great choice and got to say the compote comes highly recommended. Great location just a short stroll down into Bowness or good walk up to Windermere. All in all really great stay and we’ll definitely be back to Elim. Thanks Adam and Symmoane for a great two days 👍

Lovely house with beautiful rooms everything was labelled with plenty of information should you need it we arrived very early but the room. Was ready so booked in loved the fact that there was only 7 rooms with breakfast spread out over 3 sittings the dinning room was spacious 3 tables but lovely to enjoy your breakfast we particularly enjoyed the home made produce our hosts had made

United KingdomGreat location right in the middle of Bowness and not even 2 mins from the bars and restaurants..Free parking at the rear was a massive help as there’s nothing worse than hunting for parking..room facilities were second to none had everything we needed..beds really comfortable and had 2 great nights sleep..breakfast was continental and perfect fir us as we’re not massive fry up etc fans ..the hosts were lovely and could not do enough..can’t wait to stay at Elim bank next time we visit Bowness

United KingdomThis was our second visit to Elim Bank Guest House and we love it here. The hosts are fantastic, so caring and considerate to their guests. The location is perfect with the added bonus of free on site parking. The rooms are comfy and have everything you need and more! Lovely little extra touches provided too. We are already planning our next visit!

Hosts Symmoane and Adam are so friendly and made us feel at home straight away. Helped greatly with advice on best local places to eat. Elim Bank house is a beautiful Victorian residence and located perfectly for walking into Bowness centre with all the shops, bars and restaurants within 5 mins and Lake Windermere 10 mins further along. Be aware you will be walking downhill and then back up, but "hey" this is the "Lakes"after all. Good size bedroom with comfortable bed so slept well (small standard double with en suite) fine for us both Continental breakfast (we liked and had further addition of porridge) more than enough choice. We will be returning. Give Elim Bank Guest House a try, you won't be disappointed.
