Absolutely amazing place to stay! Near the sacred Avebury Stone Circle and a stunning, dog friendly location with a beautiful view. The room was well equipped and enormous. Our hosts were so lovely.

Wonderful stay and fantastic hosts. Ben, Cody and Matilda are exceptionally kind, hospitable and helpful and make you feel so very welcome, like part of the family. It was an absolute joy to meet them. Wishing them all the luck they deserve with working so hard to make it such a beautiful place to stay, eat and enjoy the lovely pub and surroundings. The room was beautifully presented with a great view, the beds were so comfy, the shower was amazing and complimentary drinks to enjoy. There was a great choice for breakfast with everything perfect and beautifully presented. When arriving late at night, Ben very kindly offered to cook us a late supper which was delicious and much appreciated. The village are very lucky to have such a lovely family with such great dedication and passion for the business and service they provide for all to enjoy. Thanks again.

It's a little tricky to get to without a car, but reaching the property on foot is not too difficult. You just need to watch out for cars.

It's a beautiful property and the proprietors were so kind and helpful. They'll even give you walking directions to the standing stones so you don't have to deal with the busy main road! The room was spacious and clean and the dog was adorable. I couldn't be happier with my stay.

Ben, Cody and their daughter Matilda are superb hosts. WE were made to feel very welcome. They have it just right and the little touches like complimentary drinks in room and a little picnic bag for the journey home were excellent.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Cody was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were beautiful - the photos are good, but don't do them justice. Beds were huge and comfortable. Bathrooms were out of this world. It all felt very luxurious. The breakfast was delicious and Cody was happy to cater for our dietary needs. The location was wonderful. We will definitely come back for a longer stay.

Really quaint place for an overnight stay whilst walking the Great Stones way. A short bus ride from Avebury. Hosts were very welcoming and nothing was too much. Family run pub on site for dinner with great home cooked food.

What’s to dislike? At one point I thought Cody was a boy until I met her in person :) That’s just my own silliness.

If I could give Cody and Ben extra stars for effort and likability I would. Everything from confirming once booking was made, reception on arrival, and sendoff was flawless. We were super impressed with how much heart, sweat and time this young couple have put into running both the inn and attached pub. Everywhere we saw touches of extra TLC. Charming country garden, Upgraded sparkling rainfall shower head, beautiful wood pieces. (The soaking tub deserves its own award) They also went out of their way to accommodate us by rearranging into 3 twin beds. The drinks available on arrival were absolutely appreciated by thirsty travelers. With service like this I don’t expect them to have any openings. If you see one, don’t hesitate! Book right away! Very best of luck to Cody for the 48 Hr walkathon. We can’t wait to see what’s new improvements you guys do next time we visit.

We had no issues at all

Very friendly owners who made our stay a wonderful experience. The room was perfect for us and our dog (who settled in very quickly) The quality of the food was superb and catered to both our tastes. Overall it all made for a wonderful, restful break. Would definitely visit again.

Cody and Ben couldn’t have done more to make us welcome. They provided twin beds at short notice and catered to a very restricted diet. Beds were super comfy. Location was quiet and tranquil and the facilities were very clean and tidy. They even gave us goodies for our journey home. As a regular visitor to Avebury I will definitely stay again.

Everything was very nice. The room was lovely, the beds extremely comfortable, the bath big and luxurious, the breakfast very good with lots of choice, and, most of all, the host and hostess were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Near Avebury Stone circle which was fun. And great TV options like Netflix, etc. If you want a quiet evening in. We will definitely return if ever in the area again.
