Shampoo bottle was empty. Shower floor slick. Some parts seemed like it could have used a better cleaning. The bed is smaller than we are used to.

Good location. Close to castle. Easy to get to by public transportation from the airport. Pretty window views. Easy to use code sent to get in. It seemed complicated by the email but it wasnt.

I would have liked a luggage rack to put my suitcases on. I don’t usually like to unpack all my clothes. I think the hot water controls could be labeled because it looks nothing like the picture in the book. And a little shower caddy or something to put my shampoos on inside the shower would have been great!

Absolutely loved the location. It was perfect! Loved looking out to the back yard which was very peaceful.

If I was being exceptionally critical, there is some mould showing in the shower tray in the bathroom but it's minor and certainly not an issue. The cause is almost certainly as a result of clients failing to switch on the extractor fan.

This is outstanding accommodation in the very heart of the city. Very close proximity to theatres, restaurants and places fo interest. It's also right ion the main bus route from a Park & Ride facility on the west of the city where overnight parking is free of charge - it really could not be in a better location! The facilities are outstanding, modern, clean and very high-end. Overall, it would be very difficult to find anywhere better for a city stay.

Everything was lovely and we’re happy we chose to stay there, but there were two tiny niggles. There is a blind in the bedroom, but it would’ve been good to have curtains as well for added privacy, especially during the daytime when you don’t want anyone seeing into the bedroom but also don’t want to block out the sunlight. Also a little shelf in the shower would be great.

Excellent location very close to the old town. Nice and quiet too. Lovely decor and overlooking a pretty garden.

The location of the apartment was a great place to stay within walking distance to everywhere. Great places to eat and theatre halls virtually at your doorstep. Close to the castle also.

Really lovely place to stay for short break, everything you need with facilities. The bonus was being able to drop bags off before check in or after check out.

The key code didn’t seem overly secure and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner with candles/diffusers restocked, however these are minor comments.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Lovely flat with so many nice touches - beautiful bathroom and big shower. The host provided milk, hot cocoa, tea, coffee and biscuits in the kitchen which were most welcome!

Great location and very quiet. I emailed our host with a a few questions and received a response straight away! It’s a short stroll up the hill to the Royal Mile and is just around the corner from Grassmarket.
