Room was a bit noisy when people were moving around on the floor as well as above. Floor/storage space for bags was very limited but probably expected for a hostel. Shower had high water pressure and was in a box, but again a typical hostel standard so don't expect much more.

Typical hostel. Good location and easy to walk to all the main sites in Edinburgh. Tram was very easy to catch from the airport with a stop right outside the hostel. The staff were friendly. It was essentially the cheapest place to stay in Edinburgh with its own toilet. The washing machine and dryer worked well.

I would've liked a bit more information on facilities available and where they were located. Unfortunately there were towels left behind from the previous guest behind the shower door.

I booked a triple room. Room was spacious and bright with own toilet and shower. Perfectly suitable for a couple or family. Overall the space was clean. Location within Edinburgh was great with the tram right outside that makes it only a 5 minute trip into central Edinburgh. Excellent bakery next door - Your Coffee Nook.

No windows in the hallways, you can tell by the smell. Private bathroom in the room but split. WC in a tiny room, shower in another and the sink in the hallway.

Loved the wooden floor in the room, instead of the unhygienic carpet. Great location (especially with new tram line extension). The staff was very nice

The toilet ventilation was not working well. The wash basin drain was slightly blocked and hence the water took time to drain off completely.

Value for money, great location, has a shared kitchen, courteous staff, option to use luggage store after checkout.

For a no frills clean, comfortable, value for money overnight stay then this delivered.

If I was pushed then a wardrobe rather than a small cupboard would have been nice and the actual toilet is in it's own room separate from the shower. The space in the toilet room was confined given there was also a small wash hand basin in there even though the room itself had its own wash hand basin. The toilet room was restricted by a large toilet tissue dispenser on one side and the wash hand basin on the other thereby offering cramped space for seated use of the toilet itself.

This is a hostel so it is at the basic end of the market but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable bed for a night with the option of a private shower and bath then this fits the bill perfectly. In the middle of June in the centre of Edinburgh a room with a separate toilet and shower for £80 is incredible value for money. We were going to the Playhouse Theatre so just needed overnight accommodation and this provided that. The mains shower was exceptional spacious, powerful and easy to control the temperature. Because it is a hostel you need to appreciate that rooms do not have TVs and in our room deal we were offered free towels, but this may not be the norm.

Private room was clean and beds were comfortable, nothing fancy but everything worked exactly as it needed to. Staff were friendly and breakfast was well stocked with lots of alternative milks and gluten-free options readily available. Hostel is also in a great location about a 10 minute walk from Waverley station. I'd definitely consider coming back!

It was quite hot in the room but other than that cannot complain about anything.

This accommodation was excellent value for money. Great location and a tram stop is close to the property. I was impressed considering this is classed as a hostel the rooms were basic but perfect for what we needed and clean. I had a decent nights sleep and it wasn’t noisy like I thought it might be.

The windows don’t latch close so with street noise it’s very loud late at night and early in the morning. The bathroom light is on a timer so it turns off really quickly and then you have to get up and open the door/leave the bathroom to get it back on. I understand this is environmental, but it seems pointless when the windows don’t properly close anyways.

The location is fantastic. Super close to the tram and lots of pubs, restaurants and cafes nearby. Shared kitchen is clean and well stocked. Lounge areas are nice, encountered only friendliness during our stay. Appreciated that towels were included with private room. Room was mostly clean.

Great for one night but a little basic for any longer. There should have been extraction fans in the loo and shower.

Location was ideal for centre and trams. Easy to check in and out. Free baggage storage. Room was basic (which we expected) but clean, comfortable and very quiet. Lovely big shower room.
