Clean, comfortable and affordable - what more could you ask for? OK, it's not the most luxurious of stays but you're not being charged for a luxury stay. I enjoyed my stay here and would happily book again.

Website offers breakfast and evening meal at time of booking but when we got there neither was available and there was no explanation from staff just it was not available. Very disappointing as the weather was bad and would have preferred not to wander about in the pouring rain trying to find somewhere else to eat.

Our room had a nasty smell that seemed to becoming from the toilet room, but we decided to keep that door shut and it helped. The day we checked in wifi was really terrible. We could get it sometimes down in the lobby and hardly at all in the room. They reset the wifi, but it really didn't help. The next morning there was not any wifi at all, not even in the lobby.

The location was great. It was a short walk to the hostel from the station. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the questions we had. The morning breakfast had a good selection for every type of breakfast needs. The rooms were a good size and the showers were definitely bigger than other Hostels.

If I have to find something I did not like this would probably be the lack of common spaces where people can cook their own food. They had a breakfast (and also lunch I guess?) service we did not use, we would have liked to have the possibility to make our own food as well. But, again, everything was pretty lit.

I liked most of it. The location was very convenient, a nice walk to the new town, we rarely had to use public transportation. The staff was super nice and helpful, they also made amazing cappuccinos (: The room was big and well organised, pretty clean and comfortable. Overall a very good place where to spend the night after a day strolling around the city.

WiFi was very poor but I can live without that for a night. The bed was very comfy but the pillows were not at all comfortable, very hard.

The location was perfect for our night at the Playhouse. Staff were very helpful. Room was very clean and warm. Even though we were on the main road, when we closed the window if was pretty quiet.

rooms are very basic. we didn't have a cupboard in the room only one rail with 4 hangers.

great location, room basic and was stuffy and bit stinky when we got there. But i opened the windows and the air in the room improoved. no issues after that. i liked the kitchen and dining room facilities.

It was centrally located so we didnt have to walk far from the Hogmanay.

The bed sheets were clean but had a slightly musty smell. But didn't bother us much because we only stayed for a night.

Facilities were great, and clean in general. Staff were very helpful and location was very convenient (close to bus stop, shops and atractions).

Breakfast advertised with slice sausage , but was links instead and also advertised as having mushrooms and blackpudding but never came with it , when asked about it staff juat apologised with no explanation

Breakfast was a bust,dry cereal cold tea and no bread or fruit yet we paid nearly £9 each.Very disappointed as later we found a place that served a good breakfast for the same price.

Staff were very helpful,answered all questions and we were able to leave our luggage in secure location and go sight seeing as we arrived early before check-in.Rooms were clean and beds made when we did get our rooms.Some hotels and accommodation weve stayed at didnt even have that for guests.

Everything was great, except for the internet connection (we couldn't use your WiFi on your premises). That was very disappointing. As you know we are always using internet nowadays, so you need to set up a WiFi connection that works.

The room a bit smelly. It was OK after we open the window.

The location very close to the old town, 15 mins walk to the Princes St. where the Christmas market is. We booked 4 beds, quite big and valuable. Irish Breakfast very nice. All staffs really helpful.

It doesnt feel like theres a wifi at all.

The staffs are really accomodating. Lounge is very spacious. The shower in our room is perfect.
