Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very nice hotel with comfortable bar, nice restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, and close to University of Birmingham, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and Birmingham Women's Hospital.

United KingdomI thought the rooms and bathrooms were very small for the price charged , I paid around 165 each for 3 rooms to attend a graduation , I think they’ve put facilities for conventions etc over the actual bedrooms space which is also why they are probably at the back of the building too

United KingdomMy only real (very minor) gripe is the cost; there are other hotels that offer comparable comfort/food that are cheaper and not too far. I recognise this is not a budget hotel, but it is quite pricey nonetheless. That said, if you find a decent deal I strongly advise taking it!!
As always, the staff were excellent, the bed was comfy, the breakfast was superb. Also, we held a conference there and as ever, the hotel managed the logistics splendidly.

Also the waitress wouldn’t let us sit in the restaurant area when my son wanted to order from the bar menu - despite there being nowhere to sit in the bar area. This was rectified by another member of staff..
