Shower - not hot, it was either cold or luke warm at its best. Also it lacked pressure. The hair dryer in the room didn’t work. Given there were three people in the room, was a bit tight, Whilst we liked the breakfast and the breakfast team, the scrambled eggs were a bit odd. Almost didn’t taste like real eggs.

We loved the staff. All were genuine and tried their best to help us where possible. We had requested for an early check-in, which was subject to availability and we got it. The breakfast was good given the price.

The only bad thing we had was that the sofa which was turned into a bed was not really that comfortable. But it could have been worse. And there was no brush for the toilet. I don't know if that is a German thing, but it is really nice if you don't want your companions to see what business you had on the toilet.

We were a group of three and had a family sized room which was great. We had enough space, the room was clean, good air conditioner and a large bathroom. You could sleep comfortly. The house was quiet you couldn't really hear other guests beside you in other rooms. The breakfast was great. Everything nicely prepared and a large variety of food. Especially the english breakfast was to our liking. You could also get a to-go-bag if you have to leave early like we had to for our flight. The staff was really friendly and attentive. When we had a problem they immediately could help us

The lifts are a little slow, a fridge would be nice - but again, its not an expensive hotel so cant expect everything. Nice touch of iron/iron board and bathrooms were a great size!

Staff were exceptional. Very imformative and helpful, the rooms were clean and offered what we needed. I just wanted to somewhere cheaper to stay with good links to London (train station is a 5/10 minute walk and car park 5 mins) I thought for the price we paid it met my expectations.

There only being 2 lifts to serve 9 floors meant there was a long wait at breakfast to get to an from the room to the ground floor.

The room was good, however, I only managed to shower and change in the room as I was a party planner for an event at a venue in front of the hotel, by the time we had finished I only had time to run to the room get changed and vacate. So, I can't address any comfort issues of the bed. It was an adequate room the shower I had getting ready for the event was fantastic, the room was cosy..

The location however wasn't so great, but thats no fault of the hotel itself. Although was close to a train station so we could still get into London fairly easy.

The staff at Holiday Inn were exceptional. You would not expect a chain hotel to provide such attentive service. I was highly impressed with the the service we got at the front desk as well as during breakfast. I will recommend purely based on the staff. Breakfast was simple but lovely, everything you need to get your day started. Well done to the team at Holiday Inn Express London Croydon!

Location was a bit of a disappointment. Quite a lot of rubbish on the streets around. Train station is very close tho and connection to London is pretty good.

Room could have been bigger. While breakfast was adequate and ample, ingrediants could have been of a higher quality. Sanitation at Priddy's Yard, location of hotel, could be better, with many garbage containers not serviced (probably not fault of the hotel).

From arrival to departure staff where exceptional. A special shout out has to go to Aditi, what a pleasant, helpful and personable member of staff. The room exceeded my expectations being modern, clean and tastefully decorated, couldn't fault it. The hotel is situated in the centre of Croydon within easy access to multiple shops, bars and eateries. Hotel was ideally sited for the purpose of my stay, a 60th party at the Eden Experience, a 1min walk away.

for what i paid , i can't find anything don't like.

The breakfast was so good, the room was comfortable and clean and the bed also. the hotel general was acceptable to us. I will back again to the hotel when I come back to London again
