Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe room was ok but felt as if it could do with a refresh. A bit Spartan. There were tea and coffee making facilities but these were very basic with not even a biscuit on offer. Also, breakfast was ok but again it was a limited choice and to be honest not very exciting. The hot veggie options were lacking.
The staff were fantastic - helpful and cheerful. While we were there the lift was out of order and they phoned in advance and explained the situation so we could make an informed decision as to whether to check in at the Holiday Inn or try elsewhere. The location was good. Close to the station and walking distance to the town centre and major attractions.

United KingdomThe orange juice at breakfast isn't nice. Both nights ordering a glass of wine from the bar there were no wine glasses available. The staff seemed quite shocked and embarrassed by it, I felt sorry for them as there was a queue while they were trying to find an alternative. Provide more wine glasses.
The hotel was central, clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice big shower and the staff were lovely.

United KingdomSuper convenient since I have some mobility issues; right at the bottom of the ramp down from Temple Meeds railway station. Proper accessible lift to get from street level to reception level. Good and super helpful staff at check in and surprisingly good breakfast included. Full cooked options as well as continental style. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet on 5th floor rear. Even had a window you could open for a draft!
