Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Kingdomrooms too small and very expensive given that there is nothing included except a bed and a bathroom, no closet, no kettle, no breakfast facility, there is a coffee machine in the lobby for £2 a cup of tea. For £151 a night you get much better value for money and breakfast included!

United KingdomHotel rooms are SMALL, Bed + around 2 ft (60cms) is the room size plus a small bathroom. Don't bring in much "stuff" (cases etc.) as there is VERY LITTLE storage space. Room size can't be changed, so just expect SMALL, and you won't be disappointed.
The location is Summertown is great, close to shops / restaurants etc., public transport into Oxford (by bus) is easy, as is access to Blenhiem Palace (by bus). A new hotel, so very little wear and tear anywhere in the hotel. Staff very friendly and flexible (i.e didn't charge us to check in 1 hour early!).

JapanThe room is very small without any tables. The mirror in my room was crooked so it was unusable. If you’re expecting a VERY minimal room, then that’s exactly what you’re going to get. The room itself is kept clean so I had no issue with that.
Elena and Diana at the reception was kind. The location is in summer town, a very family friendly location and easy bus access to the town. There are supermarkets nearby.

United KingdomThe room is very small - the bed is almost right up against the window. Despite requesting it and booking a double room, they didn't put two towels in the room. THere is no phone, so I had to go down to the reception to ask for a second towel. But they gave it immediately. You get what you pay for.
Reasonable for what it is; good price, and efficient checkin. Fine bed, good shower.

United KingdomThere’s nothing really that I didn’t like, apart from having to pay £15 per night for parking. I think it’s not great to have to pay extra for parking. But if you insist that your guests have to pay for parking, maybe £5 to £10 per night. As if your guests could afford more, surely they would stay at a hotel with all the amenities included in the price! Just an observation, from a single parent!
I actually thought it was very good, very friendly and helpful staff. The shower was great, love a good shower! Bed comfortable. Maybe an extra hook on the door for a coat would be helpful. But all in all, very good and I will definitely stay again and l will be recommending it.

Lovely location in Summertown - very pleasant walk into Oxford City Centre (20 mins) - cafe culture on your doorstep. Clean & comfortable room with just the essential space needed for an overnight. Had booked a room without a view but on arrival upgraded to a room with a window for no extra cost - thank you!

United KingdomThe bathroom door is glass no privacy in the bathroom. Room is too small , no table in the room and there are 2 hangers only. Its better if you have a small suite case to fit in the room.
The reception is amazing and helpful specially Josh and Suhas excellent standard of hospitality and welcoming energy. Also, Angel and Diana were helpful too. The rooms are very clean and tidy everything is updated and new , there are no old or rusty items or furniture. Loved that the shampoo and the hand wash were organic and not cheap chemicals.
