Bathroom lightswitch broken. No telly except in lounge (though didn’t bother us). Door lock needs lubricating with lithium grease.

Room was quiet, bed comfortable (though allergic to feather pillow). Very good breakfast (though limited to between 08:00 & 09:00). Interesting library.

A difficult one as it is an old building and I know they take a lot of up-keep. This is not a complaint, but it is tired and it would have been nice to have a shower. Saying this, I loved the character of the place and the bath was wonderful; a fantastically large bathroom with a deep, deep bath. Really, not a complaint at all, just observational as you have asked.

Loved the ambiance of the building and rooms. The location could not be better, quiet, yet right in the centre of Chichester. Slept very well on a very comfortable bed with comfortable pillows too - thank you.

The parking situation was a bit awkward - we tried to find out if we could both park (we had two cars) but no one answered our message. And the breakfast was pretty standard and not great for non meat eaters. There's no one there at all - you basically arrive and let yourself into your room without ever meeting anyone.

I loved this place. The breakfast situation is a bit weird (you all eat around a big table with the other guests), but the actual room was lovely and very comfy bed. It's all very faded glamour - a big family house converted into rooms, but with beautiful old features everywhere and lots of photos.

It can be a little tricky to find as the building doesn’t have any kind of name on the front so we drove round the one way road a few times before finding it, the bathroom was a little tired but still clean.

No shower in bathroom was anoying.There were some housekeeping issues with the room that I pointed out to the staff No big problem.. We will stay again.

Wifi didn't work from my room, important to note that some rooms (including mine) don't have a shower, so you have to use a bath.

It would have been better if we had had more comfortable seats in our room. the ones there were very attractive antique chairs but not for relaxing in.

It's an elegant handsome building with a sense of calm inside. Beautiful large bedroom, comfortable king-size bed. Central location yet quiet at night. Amazing breakfast which is fully inclusive set round a communal table which allows interesting conversations with other guests. Parking at rear. Key code entry. I would have loved to learn more about the history of the building inside the welcome packs.

Very difficult for me to find the entrance in back of the house.

Beautiful and very interesting . I felt like It must be 1920 or even earlier . Beautiful dining room set for ten or so but it was only me. Lovely garden in the back. The man cooking breakfast was very welcoming, and he prepared just the meal I suggested. The house is in walking distance to most of the town which was great. Room very clean and bed comfy. No noise
