Fusty smell - seemed to be coming from bathroom but whole apartment didn't smell great but only £134/night for double occupancy.

Convenient location, short walk into town. Secure and thorough check in. Room a decent size. Air-conditioning.

Just a little thing but not a nice touch: soap dispenser was broken and not replaced, just left there for use to use.

good soundproofing, therefore not too much road noise. Nice kitchenette, spacious for one person. Close to the city centre.

There were a few things that weren’t amazing with this one. Firstly the sign in pre-arrival felt very intrusive, the website wasn’t one I had seen before and the link seemed shady (with bookings.com messages about watching our for scams all over the place). I actually messaged them to check it was legit. The check in requires a photo of a picture ID and a selfie along with a host of info I’ve never had to provide for hotels before as well as info on all guests. It took a good 40 mins to complete and felt like far too much. On arrival none of this seemed necessary. There was also a £150 deposit (more than our room cost) that was hidden in the small print. This seems excessive when all that’s in the room is a couple of sets of IKEA plates/bowls etc. My wife arrived first with our disabled son and the lift was out of service (which we hadnt been informed of) this meant she had to sit in the stairwell for me to arrive to get him upstairs. I was driving and it’s worth noting the parking across the road highlighted has a max 14 hours with no option to extend. This meant we ended up leaving by 8am the following day as we had to go move the car. On getting into the rooms we noticed a distinct sewery/drain smell in the very hot bathrooms, this persisted throughout the stay and made using these an unpleasant experience. One of the bins hadn’t been emptied as well. Lastly in the night the air con kept cutting out, we were in the separate rooms with a child each and both ended up waking up several times to reset the air con. It’s was a mild May Day but without air con the room was very hot.

The rooms were very tidy and open and access felt secure. We had two rooms as a family room with a partition door and it worked well for our stay.

Cleaning, the bed sheets looked like already used, there were a lot of hair as well, so it was a feeling that it wasn't cleaned after the previous tenants

Communication with a staff, they were ready to help and sorted the confusion. The location is great, the facilities are as well, the bed was comfortable, we had everything that you need at the kitchen,.the shower was great.

Our room was on the front and quite noisy from the road and bars also we wasn’t aware of a setee bed that wasn’t made up and had no pillow

The area wasn’t the best, lift not working, no towels and minimal teas, coffees and milk, for somewhere so expensive you just expect a bit more.

Room was beautiful and easy to get in and out and good location to get in and out of town.

Air con didn’t work properly. Unable to make tea. Bad taste from kettle despite cleaning it out several times.

Very clean and modern. Includes small kitchenette. Everything you need within the room Allowed to access a little early. Communication with host was good.

No parking. And it was difficult to locate the place with the initial postcode. we kept going around and around. But the host after we called gave us another postcode to locate a paid car park opposite the apartment.

The comfort, space and cleanliness of the property. The staff was helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and impressed of the high quality of facility.

Air conditioning- no explaination of controls

We were a little further out of town than we anticipated however that wasn’t a problem. The apartments were lovely and clean, furnished nicely, had comfy beds. It took us a while to work out how to work the air conditioning- may be worth leaving some instructions for the panel for future. Other than that, had an excellent stay!

Shower pressure was non existent and it wasn’t stated parking is paid for in street (if you can get a place opposite). Spent some time stressing about parking and did get ticket…

The air conditioning was hard to change- could only seem to move it by a couple of degrees. There was no servicing of the room which would have been nice as it was a four night booking.

Very convenient location and the room was well designed with a small kitchen area and desk. The shower was good!

The room was clean but when we arrived we had about 15 huge flies in there. Some already dead where it was warm and others buzzing around. Possibly worth looking into what’s attracting them!
