Very few issues! I think it would be helpful to have the parking area signposted a bit as even with photos we weren’t 100% sure if we were parked in the right place, and I think the owner was trying to sort out the cable with Room 3 so hopefully it is fixed for future guests! We also noticed it sounded like there was a large dog right behind a door in the room but other than a bit of barking in the morning and a loud storm that night, it was still a very comfortable stay!

Loved the dog-friendly and dog-themed rooms! We booked into Room 1 & 3 and Room 1 was ground-level & had a lovely skylight and fabulous kitchenette with a fridge and TV (with great cable) and nice touches like hot chocolate & milk. Room 1 had a nice tartan plaid industrial style and cute carriage-house windows. Room 3 had lovely views from the terrace and a nice sized bathroom with a really modern feel, with a really lovely expanded kitchenette. Though compared to Room 1, in 3 no channels worked and we couldn’t get anything to work except the BBC player, and no milk was included (luckily we brought our own) which was unfortunate but didn’t spoil the overall great experience. Dawn was a lovely host and gave us recommendations for dinner and was very responsive. Overall it was a really nice stay super convenient to access the Causeway coast and seems like a lovely place for dog owners or even just dog fans like us! I also loved the USB plugs included in the bedroom outlets as well - super handy! The toiletpaper and toilets were modern and seem designed for sustainability too, which is a plus as eco-minded individuals as well.

We had the upstairs balcony room with a great view. Dawn is friendly and attentive but leaves you to get on with your stay. Laid back approach made it enjoyable.

The access lane is shared with a neighbouring farm and is rough and muddy. It's outside of the control of the hosts, so it's just something to be aware of. Driving in, I did wonder if I had booked a run-down old shack by mistake, but once in the carpark, my fear subsided, and when I stepped inside, I was pleasantly surprised. Dog owners note there is no secure off leash area at the property

Beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. I just stayed 1 night, but it would also be ideal for a longer stay. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. The location is great for visiting the Giants Causeway. I would have no hesitation about recommending Dunseverick.

Everything was just great for us and a view of the sea. Our dod Lucy enjoyed a treat or two. The location was great for a few walks.

There is genuinely nothing we didn’t like about The Rambler’s Rest.

We loved the cosy interior that Dawn provided and she really thought of everything that we could possibly need during our stay. She catered fantastically for our dog Willow, which we were extremely grateful for. All the added extras of toiletries, snacks, fresh milk etc just added to how truly great this place is to stay. Also, the outside shed bar was a brilliant touch. Stocked with loads of choices to have a night cap. All Dawn asks is that you pay for your drink using the honesty box. Amazing x

The apartment was lovely laid out and very clean, all equipment that we needed . special efforts are also made towards the dog happiness. Owner was very pleasant and helpful on our arrival. Will return soon.

Loved the personal touches, fantastic location, hosts thought of everything, nothing was too much trouble from the hosts, bed was very comfortable, you must check out the patio area (big surprise there). The views are fantastic. We will definitely be returning here.

Nothing really. If you want to be really close to town then no but we wanted a bit of “away from it all” so it suited. It’s only a short drive to town so wouldn’t be a problem for those travelling by car.

Well set up with farm and sea views. Dawn was very welcoming and communicated well with us in advance with some useful tips. While not “with breakfast” there was some small provisions provided which was great.

View is amazing. Less than 10 min walk to water and falls. 14 minutes from town.

The room was comfy and clean - the perfect rest stop after a long day of walking. The host (Dawn) was incredible. Super helpful, especially with arranging a food shop for us (as we were walking and there are no shops nearby). The ingredients provided for a cook-your-own breakfast were great! This is a perfect rest-stop for anyone walking the Causeway Coast, Dawn is a superstar, one of our favourites of the trip!

Many mosquitoes. I had to take time to find them all and put them to sleep so we wasn't stung in the night fortunately.

Good location to visit many good spots around. Nice room with little kitchen. Comfortable bed. Nice hostess.
