We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomHad booked two rooms for two nights and booked separately. Messaged before we went and asked if we could have the same room for both nights. Hotel said yes no problem. However when we got there we had to swap rooms for our second night. The receptionist on did everything she could to rectify this however we had to pack up and move which wasn’t ideal as was there for a wedding.
Beautiful property, staff really accommodating, lovely food.

United KingdomThe breakfast buffet was a bit basic. The cooked breakfast was ok but nothing special. No tattie scone or Haggis means it wasn’t a Full Scottish in my opinion. The tea was weak and when I asked for a filter coffee I was told it was instant or I could pay extra for an americano which was a bit petty. The toaster was hopeless, barely warmed the bread.
The room was pleasant and the bathroom clean! Personally I would have invested a bit more in the mattress and less in the fixtures and fittings. The TV was quite small given how far away from the bed it is.

United KingdomRoom we were allocated was branded as “Deluxe” by Booking.com. It was not. Decor needed upgrading and it was drab and dark. Overpriced. Dinner in dining room was good value but the room was noisy. Service was good but staff very busy. Breakfast did not live up to expectations . Nothing like as good as in other hotels we have experienced as Booking. com customers for lower price at home and abroad.

Lovely hotel. Very clean and well appointed. Very friendly, attentive and courteous staff. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Able to provide alternative milks which was great.
