The staff in the restaurant was not very helpful or welcoming.

We booked this hotel for the gym since we have a hard time finding hotels with a gym. Then we had to pay a fee to use it and it was pretty run down and dirty. We arrived at the hotel around 20:15, and there was no reception staff so we had to search for someone to check-in since no one answered at the after hours number that was posted. We were also looking forward to the restaurant menu, but couldn’t eat dinner because they said they were full booked at the restaurant.

Our hotel room was really nice and new. Loved the views and the property was beautiful.

room was great, comfy and clean. there were coffee pods but no machine to put them in? We didn't have breakfast, but had an evening meal. service was prompt and friendly in the restaurant, but the food mediocre to be honest which is reflected in the overall score

The bed!! So uncomfortable and hard mattress with very thin pillows. Was very warm all night so not a great night sleep sadly.

Great location with stunning views of the loch and surrounds very central and accessible. Facilities were excellent and the View Restaurant and Bar provided great service and choice at reasonable prices. We were only here for one night so didn’t try the pool or spa facilities . Great view of the lock from our room which had everything we needed

I left my Apple air pods in room and when contacted to look into it they hadn’t been found and nobody ever contacted me back about it. I tracked them to my room so the staff have stolen these which is really disappointing

Reception had closed earlier than noted on our booking, no staff to welcome us as we arrived, we had to go and look for a member of staff at the bar area! Both bars were closing before 10pm and it seemed like an inconvenience when we asked for a drink.

The room was disappointing as I had upgraded on booking.com from double to king size but seemed to downgrade from walk in shower to climb over the bath shower. Bearing in mind we are in our 60’s . It was a family room two extra beds unnecessary. So booking.com Be aware we can’t see what type of room we are upgrading to. There were no toiletries in the room had to ask in reception. Room 213 has a a lovely view yes can see loch but also gas tank. You have boarded up to this point but not covered it. The bottles of water in the room were all sparkling bearing in mind the water is slightly coloured. Would be good if there was a mixture of still and sparkling water. And I hate sparkling water water. Need to watch out for midges.

The staff on immediate entry were welcoming. The food was well presented and keenly priced to accommodate families. Two staff were particularly noted Sofia waitressing and James from activities crew, archery well presented. He worked hard to engage the youngsters Isla and Zara.

I expected a little more from the bedroom itself as , I paid for superior king room and it was a double room for sure , on the second night I was giving a room with king bed but I did not get the view . This was the only disappointment.

The location is exceptional , the hotel is stunning and the staff were fantastic.

Not enough staff at the bar and restaurant, should be trained properly more on. Limited menu for lunch. Breakfast dry roll had to ask butter attention to small things like small butter no sauces didn't ask if I required these. However staff that were working were pleasant enough. Disappointed in the bread roll itself small cheap expected more as everything else was to high standard. Even a large bap, panini.

The location is stunning, the room to a very high standard and comfortable, pool, car parking, premises excellent staff are very helpful. Facilities great.

Only thing was the hotel rooms were really warm and stuffy Air con unit in room not overly effective window open the whole holiday but didn’t really get air flow I wouldn’t like to stay in the room over the hottest summer months

Idyllic location well organised plenty of space to relax and do your own thing. Great for children with the activities and the play areas inside and out and the pool is a great size. Really helpful friendly staff From check in to check out everyone made our holiday really special

Staff were great! Every member we spoke to was a delight. Food and drink were delicious, room was spotless. The views were to die for also!

Outside seats are very uncomfortable, too low and sloped making it hard to get up from and the back of the chairs catch your spine when leaning forward. Single track road on drive in. Felt isolated once at the village as we didn't want to drive that road unless necessary.
