We walked the coastal path and just had to go in the Saltdean Lido. The location was perfect and the apartment very comfortable. Fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge. Very useful information regarding local restaurants and cafes which we made full use of.

The room is gorgeous, every detail has been thought about. Like a home away from home, everything is clean, the little patio out the back is perfect for a chill after a busy day & the bed is so comfy I didn't want to get up! 2 minute walk from the beach, ideal location for a quiet break

It's missing a small table or dining space inside, in case the weather is not good.

Great having a parking spot on the driveway. There are two patios (in the back and front of the property), which are lovely for having a meal.

A comfortable, personal space with the feel of an expanded luxury beach chalet rather than a room.

Having the shower (a very nice shower) in what was in effect the breakfast area was... quirky, but wasn't a problem. The areas for making drinks and having the fridge behind a cupboard door was rather cramped, but once again quirky rather than problematic.

Good location, outside Brighton but very easy to shuffle in and out by car. Very close to the newly refurbished Saltdean Lido which looks fantastic (but we didn't have time for a swim.) The decoration was completely fresh and bright and enhanced by many well-chosen and interesting pictures and objets d'art on the walls created a nice personal vibe which made you feel more on holiday than a typical hotel room. The "pocket garden" was tiny, but interesting, fun, and warm in the sun - great for breakfasts. Small tokens of bottle of milk and a large bottle of water in the fridge was thoughtful and welcome.

As mentioned, it was a wonderfully hot weekend and we would have used the outside space a bit more, but, to be honest, it was a little unloved. This area could be so much more.

We stayed here at the beginning of September and were very fortunate to have hot, sunny weather. The location of this property is perfect for beach days - a very short stroll to the beach. We parked the car and didn’t have to use it again. We did go into Brighton but used the bus or the bicycles provided.

Shower would be better separate from dining area. An extra sink for washing dishes because sink in loo very cramped. New garden furniture at rear would be good

Parking and ease of bus access to Brighton city centre and rottingdean. Nice pubs in rottingdean.

Information folder had nothing about local paths, buses or Lido times. The TV only operated with an Amazon Prime account. There were no windows in the property and we had to sleep with the doors open, which was not ideal. No extraction fan in the toilet. The bedroom was adequate, but the tiny bedside tables were taken up with large table lamps, leaving very little room for anything else. The bed had a metal end which was covered by the duvet and I hit my leg on it when I sat on the end of the bed. Very heavy traffic to get to Newhaven in the morning and only just made it to the ferry in time. Would not recommend if ,as with us,that was the main reason for our stay. If this had been a more reasonable price, I would not be so critical but compared to the many other accommodations we have used,it was not good value.

Good parking, easy to follow instructions. Pleasant walk into Rottingdean and the Duck Inn had good BBQ.
