Right on the seafront with a perfect view from a private balcony. Huge bed with modern shower and toilet. A bargain considering it was half term.

Only things that could be improved is communication before and during stay, like key collection and return. If I hadn't read previous reviews or asked, I wouldn't have known. Only other suggestion is maybe have some screening on the balcony for extra privacy. Otherwise was great!

Room was lovely! Very clean and cosy. Nice little balcony too. Location wise was absolutely great and literally within 5/10 mins of everything! Would happily stay again.

Maybe some artificial border around the balcony as it’s not very private & it wouldn’t spoil the view.

I loved the location, right on the front & a stones throw from the Cutter, which was lovely as visiting the Landlord (family) . The property itself is lovely, the bed was huge & cosy, the bathroom was modern the shower was great & the balcony was brilliant to have, as outdoor space is very important to us.

No problems. The patio door is original and stiff, but that’s minor and they are replacing this.

Super position near George St, beach attractions and old town. Newly refurbed. Great and shiny bathroom. Easy access system

There was a bit of a leak and the carpet near the balcony was wet. But it didn't spoil our stay.

it was in a very good location in the old town, we had the balcony room the view was breath taking, it was quiet as there was no children in the property. easy to get in and out, room was beautifully decorated. owners where easy to contact. great place to stay.

We only stayed for one night but wish we could have stayed for more! Perfect sunny little apartment with an amazing sea view in a great spot along the beachfront! Loads of cute pubs nearby and the room was super cosy and warm even when it got freezing at night time!

You have to pick up the keys at the fish and chip shop and the poor young women were rushed off their feet with orders, so that took quite a while. It also meant I had to keep phoning the property's manager to get further details, such as wifi code. Still, the fish and chips were EXCELLENT. Oh, and glasses for water would be a great addition. The property just had mugs.

Wonderful location and the fish and chip shop beneath the apartment provided the perfect supper. The proximity to the beach and Old Town was first rate.

i dont know weather you are awre but we came down checked in unfortunately had a phone call and had to return to portsmouth so we did not end up staying handed the keys back downstairs at about 5 15 pm that afternoon

Absolutely no communication from the owners at all. Just a quick check in on us would have been nice, they weren’t even around when we left for us to thank them or make any comments about our stay. Could be improved with comfortable seating on the balcony. There was no wifi access which would have been very beneficial as the phone signal in that whole area was not great at all.

Perfect location, loved the balcony and it’s view. Room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was modern and very nice. Comfy bed, we had a good nights sleep. Bedroom furniture was shabby chic giving it a nice comfortable feel to it. Nice to have a little fridge in the room, very useful.

When we booked to the room there were broken frame and glass over the floor. I took picture but didn't alarmed reception as I was late to meetings. Next day while check out I told owner about frame, he not only didn't believe but also start behave like we did it. I showed him picture with time when it was made a a proof this was in the room while we came. then he start shouting at poor cleaning lady. this was very rude. Hotel is next to busy road and it's an old building so frame could felt down due to traffic made vibrations. I know hospitality is though business but I do not appreciate owners of business to treat staff so bad.

Shower was cold and front door digital lock was a real faff.
