Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomAll staff were exceptional. Hotel lovely and location couldn't have been better. Breakfast was of a very high standard. Bus service wonderful.....every 15 mins from just outside hotel. Walking to town centre 10 to 15 mins.

United KingdomUnfortunately the balcony didn't get the sun and when sitting on a chair it was difficult to see the sea. Had imagined being able to lie in bed and watch the sea, but it wasn't to be! Would have been nice to have a bath rather than a shower and the description didn't say.
Location. Bus stop right outside and buses every 20 minutes. Breakfast was brilliant. Dinner very tasty, but the portions were far too large and felt guilty leaving food. Staff were very helpful and pleased to give any assistance with baggage or arranging a day room for our last day as we had an overnight ferry and had to be out of our room in the morning.

United KingdomWould have been nice to have more vegan options at breakfast, yogurt, oat milk. But I know this is probably an over ask. Shower could have been a little more powerful. But it wasn’t an issue. Had a nice stay.
Very clean and tidy. Staff were really helpful. For a 3 star hotel. Very good and would stay again.

United KingdomIt was a little shabby. Parking was difficult. The bar was being used as a dining area. It was a rabbit warren to get to the rooms - up and down stairs. We booked a sea view but our view was interrupted by a pumping station opposite. The reception staff were nice but their understanding was limited on occasions.
The breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable. It was clean.

The hotel is in a very good location: 15 mins walk from st Helier centre and facing the beach. The bus stop is right outside the main entrance and can take you either into the city centre (bus terminal-where all the buses start) or along the coast till mount Orgueil castle. The buffet breakfast is excellent and abundant. The dinner is also nice with an ok menu. The strong points are definitely the terrace overlooking the sea, where you can have a drink and even food, and the indoor swimming pool (and small sauna room) that you can use till 9pm. The staff is also extremely attentive and friendly. We will definitely stay again during our next visit to Jersey.

United KingdomLooks a little tired in places - small fixes would make this hotel excellent. Miserable view from room 28 (fire escape and alley) A lot of noise from outside this room until after midnight as it would seem it is over the kitchen areas. Breakfast hot choices were only luke warm, a microwave for public use may help. Uneven floors on first floor, tripped a few times.
The indoor pool is nice however the jacuzzi wasnt working. Excellent choice at breakfast. Large bathroom Excellent public transport routes around the hotel. Very friendly staff. Easy check in process.
