Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beds were good. Rooms clean and spacious. Staff very friendly. We got complementary cream tea upon arrival ☺️. Pool very nice and a lot of other water sports on site.

We booked on the day we needed it because we had arrived in Cornwall and been let down by the supplier of our original holiday. We could not have been more pleased. This property is beautiful and clean, so well equipped and ideally located on a brilliant holiday complex. The owner, with no notice at all, arranged for clean towels and also a welcome pack with milk and cream scones! Everything about this place was first class and I really want to thank Amy and the people around her for accommodating us and looking after us so well.

United KingdomThe accommodation was nothing like the picture on the Booking.com site! It is a semi detached property with a very small deck directly by the side of the main road through the site. The lounge was very small and the furniture needed replacing. We complained to our contact and were moved to a lovely 4 bed lodge but this cost us an extra £290!

United KingdomThe layout of the ground floor living area didnot work for us at all. You need binoculars to watch TV from the sofa downstairs. The oven had no instruction manual, didn’t work properly which made Christmas lunch very difficult to do. Whilst the bathrooms and bedrooms were clean. The kitchen areas were grubby, dirty placemats, no initial bin liner in the kitchen, a dirty poo filled nappy was left in the downstairs bathroom which made the place smell. When I informed the property manager, I was told her housekeeper would come around again, she never did. The housekeeper had come around just as we had checked in and dumped (I do mean dumped) a Christmas tree in a box in the lounge. When I pointed out that there was already a Christmas tree in the utility area, I was told that they were giving new ones. Firstly a waste, secondly it just meant that the utility area which was already tight for space had extra stuff in it. The resort’s community infrastructure is not sufficient for the number of lodges, we never really used the central areas as a result. The plumbing is an issue, because if you run a tap in the bath downstairs, no water comes out in the kitchen. We were a family of 4 using a lodge that is advertised to sleep 8 - that would be a hard push. For the first time as a Booking.com customer, I had to contact customer services because of the manner in which our stay was booked. As soon as I paid the full non- refundable price for our stay in two days time. I was informed by a phonecall by the Amy, property manager that Daymer Lodge was not available. I was offered a different property for fewer days for the same price on the basis that was a better located lodge (ridiculous). When I stated that we wanted our 6 day stay, I was told that a property had been found. I asked for the details, I was promised them, but 6 hours later nothing. Finally after calling Booking.com at 10:30pm at night we got the details.
Firstly we did not stay at Daymer Lodge we were put into Samphire. The master bedroom sizes were good, but it is what we were paying for. The bed linens were clean and beds were very comfortable.

Lodge was spacious and bedding and towels clean . Location was central for all the beaches etc
