Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomFor regent park, the price is what I expected even then it does feel quite high (even if keeping in with standard rates across the city).
The reception kindly upgraded us to a bigger room for free with view of the oval cricket ground. The room has a sofa to relax and then good sized queen bed. we didn't have the new interiors, but even then it is a classic view. Breakfast was varied and nice! Check out is at 12 which is much welcomed, compared to the 10am that some other hotels do. Good location - we got the bus to marble arch and nearby areas with ease.

EgyptHaven’t had any bad experience and didn’t notice anything annoying.
Convenient. The location is awesome and the renovated rooms are nice considering that it’s an old building. Overall a satisfying experience for a 9 nights stay. Would definitely go back again.

United KingdomDinner experience disappointing for a hotel of this standard. I wasn't allowed to sit in the restaurant area as I wanted to choose from the bar menu so no flexibility in that regard, even though there were plenty of tables available, Also breakfast buffet - fruit choices extremely limited (pineapple, melon and... tomatoes?!) and again for the price I would have expected table service rather than having to fetch everything myself, including the coffee. I am 76 years old and would only stay at Danubius for its location to Lord's. It is expensive for what it is; not what I was expecting for the price I paid so a bit of a let down unfortunately.
Excellent location for Lord's. My room was spacious and comfortable. The room service personnel are friendly and helpful.

United KingdomRoom very old and dated with chipped broken furniture, needs a deep clean. Bathroom very disappointing small and fixed shower head with no hand attachment. Toilet seat didn't fit and the basin plug got stuck all they did was take it out and leave on side which meant a hole in basin for anything to fall into. It's classed as a 4* hotel but it's not as all the extra touches were not there. There are 2 tube stations Baker st and St John's Wood and both were a bit of a walk to hotel, there were no restaurants or decent shops in the vicinity and again a walk to the main High Street on St John's Wood.
Lovely staff very helpful, good view if you get a high floor. Good size bedroom. Regents Park is across the road which was good.

Ireland1. Bedroom located right in from of the lifts and it was very noisy. 2. Despite being informed when I booked there were very few breakfast options as a person with allergies. 3. The trains seem to travel directly under the hotel and it is quite noisy. 4. Quite a walk to all underground stations.

AustraliaStaff at breakfast seemed board and were sometimes non attentive. To get to other restaurants you did need to walk a bit.
Lovely family room. Good size with comfortable beds and bar fridge, tea and coffee. Enjoyed our stay. Good location next to Regents park (beautiful in spring) Closest tube 10 minute walk but there were three buses straight out the front which took you into the centre of London. Had breakfast and a good selection, enjoyed the berry compote. Ate at the hotel one night and enjoyed our food. The teddy bears for the kids was a special touch which was appreciated.

IrelandIt's a small thing but the entrance for pedestrians is a bit 'round the back', up several fairly worn out looking stairs but I suppose most people arrive by car.
The Danubius is in a really great location at Regent's Park so it's easy to get around and you can get over to Camden in a few minutes. For a big hotel it has a nice comfortable feel about it. The restaurant at breakfast was excellent with beautiful views of the surrounding streets and Lord's Cricket Ground. I'd definitely stay there again.
