Patrick made us feel so welcome on our arrival and was always on hand if we needed anything. He also invited us to a nice fireworks display. It's not everywhere you go that you get such hospitality. Will definitely return.

The mattress of the double bed was uncomfortable for two people.

Brilliant location with beautiful view of the loch. Unpretentious, down to earth accommodation. Very clean. We arrived on a very windy evening so couldn’t enjoy the location as much but can imagine it being a brilliant spot to be based at for a better weather.

Our host Patrick was delightful. He was there to welcome us to this very comfortable accommodation on the banks of Loch Lomond and aleays on hand if we wanted some local knowlege. We love the location.

The shower was a little hit and miss, running from hot to cold and not able to maintain a constant temperature. But that was just a small thing as the bathroom and bath were lovely.

Everything you need was thoughtfully provided. It was like home from home, and I will be booking again for a longer stay.

Everything was perfect, Culag is a hidden gem. Patrick and team have left nothing to chance.Our accommodation had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was so comfortable, we had fresh towels daily and it a perfect location to explore Loch Lomond The is absolutely nothing to find fault with. Will definitely be back

Superb location, looking out onto Loch Lomond. Warm and friendly greeting from our host, Patrick. We stayed in the main house where we had 3 bedrooms, all ensuite, and a kitchen diner. The house was nicely furnished, clean, comfortable and well equipped including tea, coffee and milk in the kitchen. Highly recommended.

Our recent stay at Culag Self Catering on the serene shores of Loch Lomond was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the warmest welcome making this weekend getaway one we won't forget. Patrick, our host, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect in every way. His attention to detail and genuine care for his guests is evident in every corner of the accommodation. From the spotless cleanliness to the thoughtful touches throughout, it's clear that Patrick takes immense pride in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The accommodation itself is amazing, offering breathtaking views of Loch Lomond right from our doorstep. Waking up to the gentle lapping of the water and the stunning landscape at sunrise was an experience. The cottage has everything you could need. But what truly sets this place apart is the personal touch that Patrick brings to the experience. His local knowledge, helpful recommendations, and warm, friendly demeanor made us feel like we were visiting an old friend. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it’s something we won’t soon forget. We were staying due to a open water swimming event in balloch and this was a great location. Even more so patrick mentioned he would be supporting the event and taking the boat down in the morning and was happy to give us a lift. To see the loch, with a beautiful misty sunrise whilst singing wagon wheel and dirty old town 🌅 arriving in style was something I'll never forget. Perhaps TV reception could have been better - but we were happy to relax and read etc. Fantastic and spectacular views without the TV.

Fantastic location. Literally at the waterside. Accommodation well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Patrick is a very welcoming host, nothing seems too much trouble. Boat trips across the Loch from the accommodation or 2 miles down the road from Luss. We got the water bus to Balmaha and booked lunch at the Oak Tree (recommended) Duck Bay Marina another must! Wonderfully relaxing few days.

I am almost reluctant to give this a good review as I want to book again and don’t want it to become too popular! We had the best time here - beautiful place and the host, Patrick is amazing. He took us out on his boat twice and once learning that my husband and son were planning to fish, did absolutely everything he could to make it a success. He obviously genuinely loves people and really wants to make them happy. We will be back - we are already planning our next trip and will stay longer next time.

Perfect welcome , Patrick was on hand to welcome us and made sure we had everything we needed. Rooms were warm and comfortable and the location was fantastic. Beautiful loch views with plenty parking on site. The games room was an added and welcome bonus with pool, snooker and air hockey. We were invited to join the boat cruise around the loch , sadly due to weather we didn’t take up the offer but we definitely will next time. We are planning to rebook and return for another visit. Big thanks to Patrick for everything!!
