Superb location, looking out onto Loch Lomond. Warm and friendly greeting from our host, Patrick. We stayed in the main house where we had 3 bedrooms, all ensuite, and a kitchen diner. The house was nicely furnished, clean, comfortable and well equipped including tea, coffee and milk in the kitchen. Highly recommended.

Our recent stay at Culag Self Catering on the serene shores of Loch Lomond was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the warmest welcome making this weekend getaway one we won't forget. Patrick, our host, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect in every way. His attention to detail and genuine care for his guests is evident in every corner of the accommodation. From the spotless cleanliness to the thoughtful touches throughout, it's clear that Patrick takes immense pride in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The accommodation itself is amazing, offering breathtaking views of Loch Lomond right from our doorstep. Waking up to the gentle lapping of the water and the stunning landscape at sunrise was an experience. The cottage has everything you could need. But what truly sets this place apart is the personal touch that Patrick brings to the experience. His local knowledge, helpful recommendations, and warm, friendly demeanor made us feel like we were visiting an old friend. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it’s something we won’t soon forget. We were staying due to a open water swimming event in balloch and this was a great location. Even more so patrick mentioned he would be supporting the event and taking the boat down in the morning and was happy to give us a lift. To see the loch, with a beautiful misty sunrise whilst singing wagon wheel and dirty old town 🌅 arriving in style was something I'll never forget. Thank you Our weekend at Culag Self Catering was the perfect escape, filled with relaxation, drinks, stunning views and the best hospitality we could have asked for. Perhaps TV reception could have been better - but we were happy to relax and read etc. Fantastic and spectacular views without the TV.

Fantastic location. Literally at the waterside. Accommodation well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Patrick is a very welcoming host, nothing seems too much trouble. Boat trips across the Loch from the accommodation or 2 miles down the road from Luss. We got the water bus to Balmaha and booked lunch at the Oak Tree (recommended) Duck Bay Marina another must! Wonderfully relaxing few days.

I am almost reluctant to give this a good review as I want to book again and don’t want it to become too popular! We had the best time here - beautiful place and the host, Patrick is amazing. He took us out on his boat twice and once learning that my husband and son were planning to fish, did absolutely everything he could to make it a success. He obviously genuinely loves people and really wants to make them happy. We will be back - we are already planning our next trip and will stay longer next time.

Perfect welcome , Patrick was on hand to welcome us and made sure we had everything we needed. Rooms were warm and comfortable and the location was fantastic. Beautiful loch views with plenty parking on site. The games room was an added and welcome bonus with pool, snooker and air hockey. We were invited to join the boat cruise around the loch , sadly due to weather we didn’t take up the offer but we definitely will next time. We are planning to rebook and return for another visit. Big thanks to Patrick for everything!!

This accommodation was very good, we only stayed for two nights while attending a fitness festival Wod on the Loch in July and met the owner who was very nice, we would recommend this accommodation and would certainly use it again.

The postcode on sat navigation took us to totally wrong place, had to stop at local hotel to obtain directions

The views, the location, the accommodation, all beautiful, little extras like milk, washing up liquid n toilet roll. The owners were around but not in ur face.

Patrick and Anne were fabulous hosts and made us feel welcome. The cottage was very comfortable and clean,.perfect for a family of 4. We had a great time with a beach on the doorstep, swimming in the loch, evening boat trips and visits to near by towns. Perfect.

Beautiful clean and quaint little cottage/lodge with everything you could need for self-catering and a little bit extra (e.g. kitchen roll, salt and pepper, tin foil, milk etc 😁)

Freshly decorated, comfortable bed and living area furniture. Outdoor seating area. Easy walk to Luss for Loch boat tour. Easy to self cater for meals with fridge, microwave and air fryer . Laundry done a real bonus

The host Patrick was lovely and very helpful. Fresh milk ,tea,coffee etc already in apartment. Came to see if we were okay and offered the use of a kayak 🛶. Surrounding views were fabulous. Apartment was exactly as described, even better on arrival Would definitely rebook...

We had a wonderful experience at Culag Lochside and greatly appreciated the assistance from the friendly hosts. We loved the tranquil location and were very pleased with the clean and comfortable cabin.
