We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomHotel is very dated decor wise and is very run down. The room door was very old and with one small lock, didnt feel secure. The walls are incredibly thin so everytime someone waled past the room, it was as loud as having them in there with us. The room I stayed in itself was a gallery of bodged diy fixes with the ceiling looking like it had come in once or twice and dodgey floor boards to match. The room had overall grubby feel created by the limescale in the shower basin amongst other reasons. No hot water so myself and my son had to have cold showers and the toilet flush was pretty spontaneous as to when it wanted to work and didn't. There was no overhead light in the room so only 2 wall lamps for light which wasn't great. It's a real shame because location wise, the hotel is great. The staff were all nice so the hotel has a lot of potential it just seems like it was forgotten about

I was upgraded into a better and more expensive room when I showed that my toilet sink was very dirty and the tap was turning a whole circle from the base when turned. Someone had not sorted it out and the water was not draining. It was filthy dirty.

United KingdomThe hotel and its room was dirty and foul-smelling. The curtains were almost falling off its rail and was dirty. The floor was creaking really badly. It was very noisy the entire time. The sink was blocked. The pillows were not good. The room didn't have a window which is a bare minimum in a room. Couldn't sleep all night cause it was boiling hot and stinky! In the morning, cleaner opened the door without knocking and it was before check out time. Wouldn't recommend at all, would never go back there.

United KingdomNo WiFi in room - only in lounge which is filthy: the brown legs of the tables have turned white from the settled dust! (Locals said the hotel has been dirty for many years.) Had to ask twice to be given the WiFi pass details. Uncontrollable shower temperature: too hot to use. No toilet paper. Couldn't use the TV remote control to set subtitles. No "welcome" or other niceties from staff. Wasn't allowed to use the reception phone to get my mobile phone blocked when it was stolen! Being Sunday (everything was closed) and with a stolen phone, I asked permission to get access to the office computer to print out my online coach ticket. One member of staff said I could, the other said there was no printer available! Terrible DIY job all over the place. My door lock was repaired with mastic - not safe.
Very quiet, just outside the station. Slept well. My bedding was very clean, probably brand new.
