You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We appreciated the small things such as chocolates on our bed, great TV options, recommendations for dinner, self serve coffee in the room, delicious breakfast options, and ready access to plugs for our phones.

GermanyVery comfortable room and bed, mouth watering breakfast, which by itself would be enough reason to come back. Very friendly and incredibly caring host - to a point where you'll feel like being in the fanciest of hotels. I've never experienced anything quite like it. As described, the bathroom is not en suite. However, it was right next door and the hallway has always been quiet and private, so this was no issue at all. I have only ever run into one very well-behaved cat. The distance to the city center ended up being a blessing in disguise, as the short walk was through a very nice, quiet, low-traffic residential neighbourhood which apparantly is the oldest part of Inverness. In retrospect, I would hated staying in the center / near the train station.

United StatesThe Crown House was a great B&B to stay at every morning. We had a delicious breakfast provided by our host. It was up on the hill of Inverness a quick 10 minute walk into downtown but it was nice and quiet at night so had plenty of good sleep. It was located in the oldest neighborhood so the house is all around. We’re beautiful.
