The room was large and beautifully decorated with lovely shower products. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable with lovely duvet. We have stayed at several hotels locally and this is without doubt the best.

    Nothing

The property was a traditional village pub but refurbished to a high standard without loosing character. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable, food was excellent. Staff were friendly and very professional.

    That we weren't staying longer!

Loved the peaceful and pretty location. The property was tastefully decorated, cosy and spotlessly clean. The staff were excellent. The breakfast we had was comprised of high quality ingredients and beautifully cooked. Just loved the attention to detail, the discreet but efficient service and we would most definitely recommend to others and re-visit, ourselves.

The pub was a little more modern inside than I had expected from a village pub, but the décor was good and everything was very clean and comfortable. Really not sure why the room had nowhere to hang any clothes other than a hook behind the door

The setting was absolutely lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. The menus were a little limited but the food was superb. The room was cosy and comfortable.

There was very little space for hanging clothes, but as we were only staying one night is was not too much of an issue for us.

This pub is a gem! The staff were all friendly and helpful and the food was wonderful. We came here on a one night stopover on our way back from Devon and it was a perfect way to finish our holiday.

There was nowhere to hang our clothes in the bedroom.

Location was in a lovely little village, easy to find and easier still to park. Our room was very comfortable with high quality linen etc. The management had booked us in for evening meal which was lucky as there was nowhere else we could eat locally. The bars were charming, but food rather pricey for what we had. Breakfast was excellent. The toiletries were wonderful.

We had the loveliest stay - the room, the hotel and the surrounding countryside was beautiful. The staff (especially Ben and George) went above and beyond, and could not have been more welcoming. We look forward to returning soon!

No wardrobe, hanging space or chest of drawers. Not a problem for us as we were only staying one night and did not mind living out of the case but this would be a problem for us if we were staying longer.

Good location with plenty of parking. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout and obviously recently re-painted. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Comfortable bed and good quality bedding led to a good night's sleep.

    Nothing really.

This is a lovely hotel/inn in a pretty village, with an excellent restaurant. My wife and I needed to stay in the area to work with a charity in nearby Great Bedwyn, but wanted to treat ourselves to a nice stay. We were very happy with our room, food and breakfast and would certainly consider coming here again.

The only downside were the cooking/smoking smells that drifted into our hotel room window before and during lunch and dinner.

Lovely hotel with pub that serves decent food, very friendly staff. The hotel is in a quaint and cute village with lots of beautiful walks in the area. The hotel is also very dog friendly.

There was a lack of Ham on the menu considering the village is called ham!

The team were super lovely, the food was exceptional and it was a remote pub getaway with lots of cute walks around. Hungerford is only a short distance away with great antique shops and cafes it was the perfect weekend to relax and unwind from work. We took our little furry puppy with us and everywhere in the area was amenable to his needs.

12.5 percent optional service charge on the already expensive food. Tips are not a thing in the UK and are entirely the choice of the customer to add on. Not up to the customer to feel embarrassed by asking for it to be removed. It's a sneaky way of getting a tip and increasing the cost of a meal by an extortionate percentage. It meant the steak instead of £35 went up to £40. I did tip the serving staff, but when you're on a budget and are not in an industry that gets tipped it doesn't seem right.

The lovely clean pub and room.
