Location was lovely & very quiet. Needed a car which suited us. Not too far to go for most things. Hosts were friendly, helpful, informative of the area and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great . Very fresh and so much to choose from. Thank you for making our stay so pleasurable. We would not hesitate to return & recommend to our friends. Very, very dog friendly too!!

What didn't we like!! The location was great, so conveniently placed yet also out in the middle of no where so it was quiet and peaceful. The Owners were super friendly, giving recommendations for doggy friendly pubs and the best walks. The delicious breakfast came with a comedy act from Jerry, and we even got to know some of the other guests! The bed must have been made from clouds, it was so comfortable. The bathroom was huge it could've been another bedroom and it was pristine clean!

The accommodation ticked every box for me

Stunning experience, we loved everything from the start to the end. The bb is nestled jn a lovely rural area, with plenty of space to walk with your dog. Besides, it’s pet friendly and we even had the chance to have our breakfast together with our furry baby in the dining room. He was offered a sausage by the amazing owners of Crofthead. The room was spacious and spotless and the bed… oh, the bed: so comfy and we slept so well. Will be dreaming of it. The house smells good everywhere. And in the morning we had one of the most sumptuous breakfasts ever. Everything is fresh and homemade. My brioche with poached eggs and bacon was stupendous: fresh eggs were amazing. And then the jams, fresh fruit, cross buns , etc. Most of all we loved Nicola and Jerry: a fantastic couple of people we loved to chat with and had even some fun telling each other stories about our country. Can’t wait to come back soon. Thank you so much, Nicola and Gerry, for having made our holiday bellissima!!!

Very comfortable, cosy. Beautifully decorated. Spacious bathroom. Thoughtful touches: dressing gowns, tissues, toiletries, decaff teas (!) Lovely breakfast: delicious overnight oats- many thanks for recipe; superb jam! Friendly hosts.

Not one single thing was unsatisfactory! It was perfect in every way.

It was heaven on earth. The room was comforting and the property was so peaceful. The hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly. The breakfasts were scrumptious with numerous choices. We can’t wait to return!

We did have a problem starting the shower and had to call for help. To be fair to us, it was not straightforward and other guests are advised to ask for instructions to avoid a morning panic.

We received a very friendly welcome. There was a little fridge in the room with fresh milk for tea. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the shower, when we got it working, was good and powerful. No evening meal available at the farmhouse, but our hostess gave us plenty of recommendations as a result of which we ended up at a good Italian place in Prestwick (Vito's). Breakfast was very good, including excellent home-made jam and marmalade.

We had lovely room with separate lounge, the B&b were very tasteful decorated/furnished. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming and offered us so many choices at breakfast. Truly 5 stars all round.

Our only dislike was we wished we had stayed longer!

We stayed at many nice places on our trip through Scotland and England, this was hands down our best accommodations. Others were great, this was by far superior. Nicola and Gerry are wonderful, Nicola called in a reservation for our dinner, made us feel welcome at checkin and throughout our brief stay. Gerry was an amazing breakfast host.

The hosts were brilliant nice warm welcome and looked after us really well nothing was too much trouble breakfast was lovely with fresh eggs straight from Gerry’s girls as he called them 😂 would highly recommend this B&B👍
