We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomCranston House is a lovely old house. Brian was a welcoming, friendly and informative host. It was clean and comfortable, conveniently situated for an evening meal within walking distance and close enough to Gatwick airport for an early morning flight. I liked that fresh milk was offered as an alternative to the UHT capsules. There is a little fridge in the room. There is also off street parking.

The owner was lovely and helped me book a taxi when a pre ordered one let me down and I needed to get to my friend's wedding. Breakfast was nice and cooked to order. The bed was comfortable and the room nice and big.

It’s a really nice house the rooms were nice n clean well looked after had all the facilities you needed excellent friendly service the food option’s available I thought was excellent. Location was perfect didn’t have far to walk to get to shops restaurants takeaway and pubs as well as the local bluebell railway and main train station. Highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

United KingdomThe mattress had a spongy protector that kept gathering every time we moved and this kept us awake. The mattress also had a weird strap around it. The duvet was ideal as it is rare to get a light weight duvet in any accommodation. It was clear that the proprietor had our every need in mind. Only thing to improve is the mattress situation.

United KingdomIt lacked privacy in terms of hearing other conversations in rooms nearby. I had a problem with the wood floor creaking all the way across to under my son's bed from the next room. This person unbeknownst to them was keeping us up every time they walked on that floor board...
It's location was closest to Gatwick airport for the price, it's worth it. The bathroom was clean and the beds comfortable, however it gets pretty warm overnight .

This was our second time of booking the Cranston for an overnight stay. It is a lovely characterful house in a convenient area on a quiet road. Our breakfast was very nicely cooked and the choice excellent. We would definitely return in the future.
