Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI couldn't get a signal from the tv, but didn't query it at the time because I wasn't bothered.
Very comfy bed, clean and pleasant bedroom and bathroom. Good self-catering breakfast facility in room, with fridge, kettle toaster, egg cooker and supplies. Very quiet, rural location with lovely views and dark skies. Although this was just an overnight stay, I lived in the area years ago and there are a lot of beautiful and interesting places to visit in the area.

United KingdomThere wasn't anything to dislike. The staff make sure you have everything to make your stay memorable.
A nice farm location in the hills overlooking Swansea Bay and Llanelli. The most amazing views. There are numerous walks and villages close=by. On arrival you are welcomed by the owners and shown around the facilities. Rooms are spacious with on-suite, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is milk, fresh orange, yogurt and bread available for breakfast which is replenished daily.

United KingdomAgain it's a working farm and I get it but road could maybe be smoother maybe to save our cars.
I love the animals especially the little dog. The area was lovely and cottage was so cute. My room was lovely and really comfortable. Didn't see the owners but it's a working farm and I get that.

United KingdomThe road is treacherous! I was so terrified once I got deeper and deeper into the forest and soon realised that there was no turning back! The farmhouse is situated in the middle of the forest with mountains and trees and all of that! Yes it’s right in the middle of no where. You will not have any WiFi or internet signal unless you connect to the accommodation’s WiFi network. It’s really not easy to describe how dangerous the road to the farm house is but I’ll try. It’s a super narrow road that can accommodate just about your car wheels as long as you maintain a steady grip on your steering wheel and stay aligned within the track you are on. If you miss the track on either side, it’s likely going to be a disaster because on your left as you’re going to the accommodation, you have depths of valleys that you may end up falling into, and on your right side, there are either mountain walls or high lands or what looked like ditches in which you will never be able to get your car wheels off if they fall into those areas! At some point on the road, it was pure concrete then it gets more interesting as you approach the house. You have to understand that if for some bizarre luck, you meet an oncoming vehicle at any point along these extremely dangerous paths, you are basically in danger, because I cannot imagine any way out of such situation. You cannot reverse safely without the risk of ending up falling into the bottom of the mountain and there’s absolutely no room to park and let the other car get past. There’s nothing to warn you about any oncoming vehicle until you both come face to face. I don’t think that the danger of this situation has been highlighted enough for people to really grasp the implications. I paid for three nights but only stayed one night because I promised myself that if I ever got out of there alive the next morning, that I would never come back there. I planned to stay there for a mini work project but it’s definitely not safe getting in and out!
Once you arrive, the accommodation is decent and clean. They’re very generous with their breakfast offers. They had assorted cereals, two slices of bread were left in a plastic container- not sure if that was left over or something but it doesn’t matter because I don’t eat bread nor any of those types of cereals anyway. They had jugs of fresh milk and juice, a yoghurt pot and 4 fresh eggs. They also have a mini table with kettle, egg cooker( which was my favourite), tea mugs, dishes and glass cups. There was a solid wooden wardrobe and two side bed chest of drawers on each side. The bathroom walls looked clean and there a a clean bath mat. I like the way their shower cubicle was designed in golden-rimmed glass and the door handles and metal hardware were mostly in gold. The carpet appeared clean with no stains. There was a microwave sitting on top of the fridge and they also had a mini dining table with two chairs in that room. It’s amazing how they thought about everything that’ll make one feel at home. The shower works and there was hot water. The toilet had I flushed urine when I arrived and at first, I thought it was a permanent stain, but I guess they forgot to clean the toilet after the last guest left. I’ve almost covered every detail of the room as I saw it. The scenery was amazing! Vast views of beautiful green fields, mountains, trees and animals grazing freely on the fields. Trees and birds singing and chirping freely. As I arrived and parked my car, I saw a herd of huge-sized cows being herded by someone behind the gates. On my way there, I saw sheep in multitude of numbers scattered across the vast spaces in the fields.

United KingdomBreakfast is D-I-Y in your room (never done that before). Eggs, bread, butter, etc. The farm is in a remote Welsh valley, and up a l-o-n-g track from the turn off the minor road.
The location is real Welsh hillside, with lots of sheep along the way.

United Kingdomi liked the quirkiness of the place. The owner was helpful in telling me how to get to the best nearby eating places and stunning Carreg Cennen castle. The items provided to make one's own breakfast in the room were good. Whilst I didn't have ensuite I had my own private bathroom just two steps across the landing.

United KingdomThe donkey in their field needs to have his hooves clipped, they are very long and clearly making him uncomfortable. Inside the property in our room the shower was tiny not enough space to turn around or bend over . Also whenever using the shower or flushing the toilet a really loud flowing noise would continue for about 5 minutes. Weren't given any keys for our room to lock our door . Hardly any communication from host just to be told what room we were in. Dog left locked outside in the rain which i let in multiple times. And a guest was knocking door at half 9 to come into the guest house.. he was ignored so i had to let him in as they dont let anyone in after 9. Poor man was freezing cold and soaking shivering
Beautiful location and onsite animals were really friendly . Place outside is stunning and very quirkey. The dog was an absolute dream! More communicate from her than the host!
