Great central location, easy access, wonderful atmospheric building.

Good facilities and nice space, but the soundproofing could be much better, as the occupants of "cottage 6" ran and thumped around until 1am - particularly bad from our bathroom.

It was very easy to find and access. Very interesting building and it was lovely being in an old solid structure amongst so much of the modern city. The location was excellent as we were visiting the two cathedrals.

Stairs were very steep and narrow so needed extra care.

Stunning property in a perfect location. Immaculately clean and bursting with character coupled with a modern finishes.

The stairs just at the top where a bit small, which meant we had to start walking down backwards. The neighbours played drums and the house carries the noise.

The historic element of this accommodation was important to my trip. Very cute, comfortable beds and great city shopping

We loved how close we were to the centre. shops, pubs and restaurants.

I wasn't emailed the unit no and access code despite being told I will be informed on the day of check in. That's not good at all. The mgt didn't respond to my question of which unit it was after she sent the access code. Had to call. Since it's contactless, the mgt should touch base and inform the customer of the unit no and access code without prompting. The towels weren't refreshed. So you had one set of towels for 5 days. There was no housekeeping so to speak. It was a little drafty in the unit.

The location is excellent. The amenities were modern and good too.

The lounge is very small with only enough seats for 3 people. Beds were hard and we only had enough towels for 2 people when there were 3 of us, but we made do. The stairs would not be good for some people.

Great location, right near the cathedral and only 5 mins walk from a carpark (£12) for 24 hrs. Quirky little place with lots of history, twisty stairs and sloping floorboards which added to the character of the place. Next door to weatherspoons but surprisingly quiet on a Tuesday night.

The location was amazing. The medieval building has been restored with so much care and it a stunning mix of old and new. We feel privileged to have stayed there.

Very steep stairs which I know can't be helped in a propery of that age. No wine glasses, only tumblers to drink from. However, not a deal breaker as we would definitely stay again.

Fantastic location over looking the Cathedrals. Everything was within easy walking distance Spacious, clean, warm apartment. Beds comfortable and a good shower.

The Cottage is lovingly restored, with exposed beams from 1600, it is very clean, beds are comfortable, shower is powerful, has full kitchen facilities. I loved the old detail, fireplace and floors. The location is superb, right next to Cathedral, shops and restaurants. The checking and checkout is very simple. The staff were very helpful. I forgot my charger in there and it was sent to me by post next day. We will come and stay again.

There was a lack of kitchen utensils, not even any wine glasses. Washing up and few cleaning things would have been helpful. We didn’t take our children or dog and I’m glad as we would have had to buy cleaning products. No bulb in the bedside lamp.

Great location. Lovely old property. Nicely decorated and furnished. Easy to gain access.

The people staying in the other rooms were very loud until well into the evening. Not the property’s fault but bear in mind when booking.

    Everything was perfect for us.

The apartment was absolutely brilliant, better than expected, perfect central location right next to the cathedral. It was immaculately clean and quirky in shape. A wonderful place to stay that we wished we'd booked for longer. The shower was jot and powerful, the lounge/kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay, the top bedroom was large with a four poster.

Service from property manager was poor. They got booking details wrong and didn't respond to several emails. In the end had to resolve the issue through the Booking.com site. Then the property manager wouldn't give me the PIN (claimed details were in an email - they weren't) had again to get Booking.com involved. Whole thing involved 30 min wait outside in the cold. Such a shame as the property was lovely.
