The kitchen amenities were great and being right in the town centre made it super easy to go out for lunch/ dinner and bring food home for us.

We were given an incorrect Wi-Fi code so we wasted a long time trying to program the TV and access Netflix. All sorted the following day, after some phone calls.

Fantastic location, beautiful building, comfy and spacious layout.

There was quite a large gap underneath the front door that let in a lot of sound and made the room feel a little insecure

Fantastic location, so central and close to everything. Comfy bed. Great kitchen with all the basic utensils if you wanted to cook a proper meal. Building was very quiet at all times, even with the pub close by.

Unfortunately the TV didn't work when trying to connect to any channels or apps and the WiFi was turned off so I couldn't connect. Also, that big gap under the front door left a lot of noise into the room.

Central location, comfy bed and great shower and kitchen.

Only one working bedside lamp but a minor issue. Perhaps more serving dishes would be helpful when eating at the property.

Fabulous location in the historic part of Coventry. Very comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms.

The only thing we didn’t like was how loud it was but that can’t be helped as it’s in the centre of town. And the mattress was uncomfortable, too soft.

Loved the historic features and the way it had been done up.

The street next to it can get busy, but that's to be expected, and not problematic for us.

It's such a charming and historic place. It's excellently renovated, while keeping the historic feeling and details.

Lovely stay in a medieval house
    • Leisure trip
    • Group
    • Two-Bedroom Cottage
    • Stayed 6 nights

While the location is great because it's in the city centre, there are a few downsides to that. The property faces a park (actually an archaeological site turned public area) that attracts a lot of....not so nice people. Mostly younger people smoking pot and being really loud at night. At one point it sounded as if a mob was trying to break the grates that secured the property from the park below. That was really scary. We also watched two drug deals going on in this area, and we always felt we needed to shelter the door code from too keen watchers. On our last day we even had some police action because a drugged man had climbed onto the property's roof and was likely trying to break in (we had the uneasy feeling that he might have watched us leave early and return late in the days before and just tried his luck...). I know this is not the host's fault, but perhaps if enough house owners bring this to the city council's attention, something might change...?

Staying in a 15th century house was quite the experience. The property retains its medieval face on the outside while it has been gently modernized on the inside. The living room had all the amenities you need. Bedrooms were tastefully furnished and had comfy beds. Due to the nature and age of the house there are a few unusual features, such as steep stairs that one should be aware of when booking this property. All in all a lovely experience with a few little downsides (see below) that are not the host's fault.

The appartment was short of towels as we only had three bath towels per five persons. Hangers in the wardrobes were missing as well there were four for five people. Cutlery and plates are missing, too. The owners should top up the missing items

Perfect location close to every point of interest in Coventry and in the pretties area of the city. Excellent combination of a historic building with a moden interior. Excellent bathrooms and modern kitchen

Could do with something in the shower as we both slid about. Also wonder if you need to think of a baby gate for the lower stairs, walking round with socks made the turn into or out of the lounge hallway a bit nervy

Absolute gem of a property. Steps were a tad steep 🤣 , perfect for a bit of site seeing of Coventry. Superb value for money too. Definitely recommend booking this up.

Good facilities and nice space, but the soundproofing could be much better, as the occupants of "cottage 6" ran and thumped around until 1am - particularly bad from our bathroom.

It was very easy to find and access. Very interesting building and it was lovely being in an old solid structure amongst so much of the modern city. The location was excellent as we were visiting the two cathedrals.
