Rooms need updating. Floor was uneven and bed was lumpy. only one towel was provided. No floor towel for stepping out of shower.

Great location. On main bus route to Nottingham. Good food and breakfast options nearby. Would highy recommend fish bar facing. There is also an Aldi facing. Staff were friendly. Male staff in his 70s was super friendly and is a great asset. Gave great recommendations on local area and how to get to Trent Bridge. Lovely bloke. Great cafe facing. Good shower. Value for money and location.

Room was clean tidy and the bed was so much more comfortable than expected. The amount tea and coffee in the room puts higher priced hotels to shame. The staff were excellent too

Shower pressure was so low it was almost non-existent. Had to have a cold shower just to get enough pressure! Blinds were missing some slats which made privacy questionable with the houses behind the hotel, but I managed to move the slats around to ensure nobody could look in. View from window was the back area of the hotel which was piled high with scrap wood and metal(?) thrown into a large heap - made me wonder how seriously they take cleanliness. Not a complain but an FYI - be warned there’s no breakfast or food. Plenty of delicious food options around the area though - bloke in front reception can tell you where to go for what you need!

Guy at reception was a lovely bloke - friendly and approachable and had good suggestions for food and drink. Room was quiet and perfect for a solo traveller - wasn’t disturbed at all. Great price - good value for money, especially with its proximity to the city. Comfy bed - could’ve done with an extra pillow though.

Smells like a sewer outside the window, so I had to close it and leave the hallway door open for ventilation The room was very small Didn't feel it was good value Nothing really special nor no top sheets on the bed

The owner was very knowledgeable about places to eat locally. Very friendly and welcoming. The room was very basic but clean. It was 'fit for purpose '. It is a budget hotel with rooms to fit that criteria.

Very dated rooms, they do not look like the pictures anymore. Various stains on the carpet and bedframes, paint is flaking off the walls, bathroom only has a sliding door with gaps (you can hear everything), tiles are loose. Desperately needs renovations.

City centre not too far away. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Linen was clean.

It is very rundown. Many of the critical comments from other recent visitors were confirmed on using the rooms.

Friendly staff. Happy to assist and to provide information on local travel and cafes. Cheap compared to other options but for good reason.

You get what you pay for, there was a blind missing in the room so when the sun came through it woke us up a lot earlier than anticipated. But overall. If push came to shove. We would stay again.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the value from this place was fantastic. We were down for the cricket and it was an ideal place just to get freshened up (the shower was surprisingly good). The beds were not terrible and the booking was 1/4 of the price compared to the cheapest chain hotel for the same dates. The first stick in the TV was a welcome surprise. Not sure if it was meant to be there or if someone had just left it, either way it was a nice touch.

Beds could have been more comfier we stayed in twin room and the skirting boards had thick dust on it, the photos are not fully accurate to real life, the garden was a mess, strange smell in room.

Enjoyed the location, bus stop outside hotel, the staff nice easy check in.

layout of the bathroom, was place tightly placed in the corner, being a big person i struggled to sit. there was random things attached to the wall that was on the verge of falling off, some being placed above the bed.

The price is always good when you are travel 100s of miles to meet people, very local to the city centre, far enough so that it isnt packed full of town goers.
