Pebble beach.

It had a little fridge, TV was working. Carpet was soft. Kettle was working with enough tea and coffee but not enough milk. Quiet, calm

Although everything worked out well without it, we rather missed having contact with any human being — owner, manager, receptionist, anyone. It's people that give character to a place. Also, another resident pointed out that there was a kitchen downstairs. Maybe it's still a work in progress, but a more fully functional kitchen and information about it to guests would be a boon.

Clean and fresh, it had everything we needed with no superfluous frills. The location was perfect for our needs.

Beds were uncomfortable and a very small double. As our room was on the ground floor it was very noisy with people walking past late into the night. However the hotel itself was quiet

Good location, simple check in with great communication and easy to follow instructions for self check in. Large room, booked for 3 guest but our room slept 6! [double bed and 2 x bunk beds)..so really good value. Room was basic but clean and well maintained

The property was more like a hostel The room was extremely basic & one extension lead for all appliances. I felt the photos on booking. Com was misleading & we only found out that the hotel had no receptionist after booking .

Very warm even with radiator turned off but too noisy to sleep with window open Extractor fan in bathroom not working so windows in main bedroom steamed up An extra bin in bedroom not just little one in bathroom would have been useful Road noise but should have guessed problem as earplugs were supplied !

The only complaint is that there is no air outlet. During the night, I felt suffocated because there is no window to open. It was a horrible feeling of lack of air.

Only thing I struggled with was the heating. It was great it worked but it worked too well, it was on the entire stay and the adjuster on the radiator didn't make a difference. It was hot hot even on the snowflake setting. I had to keep cooling the room by propping the window open. This was particularly an issue at night on Saturday because it meant it was too loud from the seafront clubs. I shut the window and put up with being too hot.

Check in was easy, the room was clean and had a great view. It was small but not a bad thing, it was perfect for what I needed it for. The WiFi was good and stable. Everything was fully stocked. The location was great and worth the money on its own.

Heating was broken so radiator permanently on making upstairs and our room uncomfortably warm. Carpet was horrible and felt dirty No parking nearby so had to lug bags on a 20 minute walk with no where to store bags after check out.

The shower had black mould on the roof, which is really uncool. Windows had a heap of condensation so couldn't see the seaview and probably why there's mould as there is not a lot of ventilation unless you open the window where it's super windy. Stairs were pokey and there was a weird weed smell everywhere at the entrance. No staff at 6pm either??

So ole check-in, good size room, nice bed and chairs and fridge was handy, as were the power sockets as I needed a lot.

Very cosy, if slightly small room. Shower and toilet a little cramped, but adequate. Beds comfy and room generally clean. Nice sea view from room.

Rude staff, the hallways to get to the room are very cramped and awkward, the shower didn't work properly.

Very good location. Close to the beach, 5 minutes away from the pier and 10 minutes from the city center. Great pubs in the area. Room was recently renovated and very clean.

Only thing I could comment on is some decor is looking a little tired but not really a problem.

It is a bit outdated and single glazed windows do not stop the noise from the street. I think it is not a big problem though but for others it can be an issue.

Great location, fair price especially if you plan to only sleep at the hotel, fridge and kettle in the room helps to make it even more economical. Clean.
