The only downside was that the shower did not drain therefore we had to have rapid-fire showers in order for it to not leak out over into the bathroom which it did a couple of times. Other than that though it was a lovely room.

The room we stayed in was beautiful, bright and spacious with a stunning view of the sea. Very comfortable! The staff made you feel at home and topped you up with irn bru and biccies each day it was fab!

Recommend installing hand rail in shower unit to assist older visitors. Extend hair-dryer cord as its too short and is a little difficult to use.

Met no hosts/staff during our 2 night stay. Had no cups, glasses in our room i on day 1. On site parking was limited, but plenty of spaces on road outside.

Lovely comfortable r bedrooms and sitting room. Ideal location, a stroll from town centre, beautiful views out onto bay.

Did not actually meet any staff at all. Stairs! Didn't see any kind of lift. Not many plug sockets in room, but thankfully had a multi plug with me. Door tricky to lock and unlock, but only a minor niggle.

Check in was quick and painless, room key was left in an envelope inside main door. Room clean and spacious. Nice little biscuits and tea/coffee for the evening. Location is right along the waterfront with spectacular views of the harbour.

I didn't like having to use a separate bathroom along the hall as whenever you want to use the toilet or shower or clean your teeth its a pain, you need to be dressed or in a gown, you need your keys and if you get up in the night you are disturbing others by opening and closing and unlocking doors. Plenty of parking, but restricted by multiple guests who took up multiple spaces.

B&B situated along the seafront and just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Clean and tidy room with the usual tea and coffee making facilities. Porridge and biscuits and cans of drinks provided, more than you normally get and topped up daily, but then there is no breakfast offered. Not necessarily a like, but ok is access to B&B is self service via key left in an envelope.

It would be nice to have more substantial food options, but it was made clear from the start that food is not available and we were able to get dinner at Oban Bay.

The decoration was charming and the room was clean. There was plenty of hot water and we appreciated the snacks and beverages left in the room (we had wanted to try Iron Brew!). The location was excellent - quite close to Oban’s centre, but we didn’t walk there.

It took a while to heat up the room and you’re not able to leave the heaters on whilst out of the room but luckily it wasn’t really cold when we stayed.

The location was fantastic. The room was well equipped, including breakfast and snack items. The bed was very comfortable.

The WiFi in our room was TERRIBLE!!!!!!! WiFi was passable in the other parts of the hotel, I think it was just our room. Soory, I can[t remember which room number we had.

The location was really nice. It was a short 5 minute walk to restaurants and pubs. The hotel itself is unique and very well maintained. The rooms were nice sized, but like many boutique hotels in the UK, the bathrooms are small. As others have said, parking is a little unusual. Guests have to "double stack" their cars and leave their contact info in case another guest needs to get out of the car park. While not ideal.....it is much better than the other hotels we saw nearby that had ZERO parking on their facilities.....don't let this scare you away. There was also some great sitting areas where you could kick back and relax in front of a bay window overlooking the ocean. That was great!!!

Great location, lovely walk along the Esplanade to get between the hotel and the ferry port/railway station/cafes/shops. There is also a frequent bus service if needed. I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend.
