The hotel itself is a bit old fashioned and tatty, but the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was very small.

Nice stay. The room was functional and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen, but it was available to use. It looked well stocked with complimentary tea and coffee.

No hand rail on one side of stairs. Very difficult for my disabled partner to get down stairs.

There is a nice kitchen where you can make coffee and tea, but as a personal preference, I like to have a cuppa in my room. I understand the reasons behind not having this facility though.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean, bright, and spacious. I was worried it might be noisy, but me and my partner both had a great night's sleep. We didn't eat in the pub, but you can get 10% off food if you show your room key.

Noisy neighbours in the adjacent bunk room but that was pre-known. The noise from the bar below wasnt out of hand.

Location was great as I know the town well. Good view over the bay too. Excellent Wifi.

The property does clearly state it is a nice a busy pub and they have earplugs available for free. I could still hear the music at times.

Fantastic location. Room was functional, clean and comfortable. The shared toilet/showroom was newly refurbished and the shower was excellent after a cold day in the water.

A lot of stairs. To be fair I paid for a waterfront room and that was only accessible by several flights of stairs. If you can’t do stairs this one won’t be for you. But if you can, it’s historical and quite comfortable. Sea breeze at night through the easy to open window was refreshing and lovely. We walked about at night quite safely.

Location is stunning. Accessible and affordable car parking next to hotel. Waterfront views and close to all amenities.

The hotel is a bit dated but reflected in price. Missed having a cooked breakfast made for us in the morning.

    - long wait for a response from the accommodation when communicating before and during the stay - incomplete information provided regarding parking near the accommodation (not all parking lots were free throughout the day)

    - beautiful accommodation location close to Oban harbour - kind staff - access to the kitchen with the possibility of breakfast - a cozy attic room with a view of the harbor - a restaurant with delicious food at your fingertips and with a 10% discount (food only)

We were there mid-week so didn't experience the noisy pub on the ground floor, but the fact that they provide ear plugs for guests sends a message about potential issues on weekend nights. If you're considering it for a Friday or Saturday night's stay, be sure to ask for a room away from the pub.

This is a budget option in Oban. The common areas are quite rudimentary, but the room itself was comfortable and well maintained. The location is convenient - easy walking distance to the town centre, but a bit difficult to find since it didn't show up on our GPS.

Staff at the hotel helped to get a ground floor room for my wife as she has mobility issues without any problems. We are so grateful to her and her team. Many thanks Would recommend you to anyone who wishes to stay there. Keep up the good work the Bells
