The house was lovely, warm and clean and there was milk, tea/coffee and biscuits left for us. The house is in a lovely quiet road and we would definitely stay again. We were also able to leave our car safely parked up on the driveway which was extremely useful. Excellent communication with the host, Nick. We had a lovely short break. Great location on a good bus route into Oxford itself. (the 46 bus from roughly 100 yard from the house, or if you go to the end of the road and turn left and cross over you can get either a 3, 3A or X40). As we had lovely weather we also enjoyed a walk along the river into Oxford. I can highly recommend both the Harry Potter walking tour and the Inspector Morse, Lewis and Endeavour Film Tour. We also visited Blenheim Palace and gardens, which were stunning.

Not related to the accomodation, but for drivers unfamiliar with UK driving rules beware the V bus lane restriction right by the home. Has all day cameras, 70 Pounds each careless trip>

Unfortunately there were ants in the kitchen. We made sure no food was left out but there were some in the cupboards too. We couldn’t find the “source”/ where they were coming from. Also - if there was some cleaning fluids left it would have been easier to clean kitchen surfaces down (especially after squashing ants). But it was not a major problem and did not spoil our stay. The bins had not been emptied - said in the info that the neighbours put them out? But looks like not for a while - we would have done so if we’d realised.

There was a slight water leak in the bathroom, making the floor wet. I let the owners know and they looked into it right away. A plumber was needed to fix it but it really wasn't a problem for us, we just avoided the puddle on the floor and were happy to wait for it to be dealt with after we had left. But kudos to the owners for getting it looked at right away.

House has everything you need, towels, bedding, Netflix and even store cupboard essentials. Great location, with easy access to Oxford center via bus. Lovely decor, a home away from home. Especially liked the extra snuggle blankets in the lounge.

Can't fault anything.

Location was quite, central with one parking. Rooms were all clean and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well set up with complimentary coffee and tea.

Lovely house in a great quiet neighbourhood. We walked along the river into town which was a lovely 40 min walk. The kitchen is really well equipped. Love the gas cooker & dining space.

It exceed my expectations, it was much better in person than the photos. It was very clean. Good location, parking included on the drive. About 35-40 minutes walk into central Oxford, or less than 5 minutes walk to a bus stop for regular buses.

Neat and tidy family home in a safe neighbourhood.

This is a very nice home, close to central Oxford for shopping and restaurants. Plenty of room to move around and well stocked with items for cooking and relaxing. Nice little front yard and walking park nearby. Quiet location with plenty of parking.

This is a neat family home with all mod cons. The bathroom is downstairs with 3 bedrooms upstairs. For us it was close to the things we needed to do in Oxford. A relaxing, comfortable stay.
