There is a street light outside the bedroom which could be a bother if you like your room really dark. If you have large luggage you might feel a little squeezy.

Juliet and Nick have created a lovely apartment in an excellent location in the centre of York. Juliet could not have been more helpful in greeting us, showing us through all the amenities and even sitting down with us to work out where we could get a Sunday pub roast. (Thanks - we went to the Black Swan) There is a well appointed kitchen and the hosts organise with you the breakfast provisions you would like and even leave some other bakery treats. It's the personal touch that sets this place apart. The shower is good and the bed comfy. We had a lovely stay.

The apartment is just perfect, right in the centre of town, the host met us at the apartment and supplied us with all the essentials but went over our expectations with enough breakfast for 2 days, a bottle of wine and some bakery treats.

We loved our stay at Coppergate Apartments! The apartment was beautifully immaculate and we were made to feel so welcome. Everything has been carefully thought out and the very welcomed treats were a wonderful bonus! The apartment has everything you'll need and want. The location was perfect, just a 5 minute stroll to The Shambles. We have visited York many times over the last few years but this visit was special. We will definitely stay here again!

I honestly can't think of any

From start to finish our time away was just what we needed, the apartment did not disappoint, Juliet made us feel so welcome, the welcome pack was perfect and well received, the apartment was comfortable and you have everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. The bed is amazing for a great night's sleep after sight seeing, there are plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops around the area and you are close to all the attractions. We had the best time on our little mini break and we are hoping to be back soon. Thank you

Nothing was amazing

Everything was exeptional from the moment we arrived to the day we left, Host was amazing and went out there way to get soya milk and vegan stuff for out stay, Apartment was fantastic clean and spotless and right in the middle of the city so easy to get to where you want to go and will definitely book again soon. This apartment is amazing and we give it 6 stars out of 5 as it deserves it for both the host and apartment.

1. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION - Coppergate Apartments is set in the perfect location, whilst somehow being quiet (the street it's on is hardly ever used!) it's bang in the centre 2. Hosts couldn't be more lovely, Juliet is brilliant at what she does 3. Apartment is very clean, lovely on the eye and has everything you could need and then some

Owners met us at street level entry and helped us upstairs with the luggage. They were extremely helpful with everything and even supplied the wonderful kitchen with very special things to eat and drink. The apartment has been completely rebuilt with an all new kitchen and bathroom but with warm, comfortable and very personal furnishings.

It’s two floors to the top apartment but Juliet & Nick make themselves available to help with luggage, etc; and it’s well worth the climb.

The apartment is so welcoming and comfortable, and Juliet is always quick to respond should you have a query. This is our “go-to” place to stay when visiting York. I would highly recommend this as an ideal place to stay.
